Nevermind Greenday or Blink, enjoy some true punk for a change. This is Atdi's release just prior to "Relationships" and in my opinion marks the highpoint of their career. This is real stripped down punk rock, spiky guitars, shouting vocals and a tension that at times is almost unbearable. Particular favourites are "Proxima centauri" and "Heliotrope"-I challenge you to listen to this and remain seated! Enjoy!

Everything about this record blows me away. Every member of this band shows that they are really pushing themselves as individuals as well as on the whole, by the way that they all play vital role's and lend themselves to the experimental sounds that are produced. The overlapping guitar sounds of Omar and Jim, drumming that always suprises you and takes the songs in directions you would never expect from Tony, great bass work from Pall that underpins the guitar work and structures the song, and stunning vocals and abstract lyrics from Cedric. This five-piece have produced a very important record in VAYA. The keyboards add another layer to the sound. To fully appreciate the sublety of the guitars, in-ear head-phones are needed. Give the lyrics a look, the style allows each listener the oppurtunity to interpret them in a personal way. "What if forensics find the answer / what if they stole my fingerprints"Amazing....

This was the precurser to Relationship..... realeased in 1999. The songs are excellent, so don't be put off because there are only 7 tracks.My personal favourite is '198d' which is probaly the closest atd-i will get to a ballad. In short, buy this e.p NOW.

I'm sorry but this is the best ATDI release. Simply the best. SO much energy, so much creativity, such perfect direction. In/Casino/Out is very close behind and everything else is in the dust. If only this were a full album!!
