Since most earbuds are quite prone to breaking within a couple of years I was looking for a fairly sustainable or repairable alternative. The ones that also have good sound quality does not exist (fairbuds are easily repairable but have pretty bad sound quality). I am not an audiophile, and I generally listen to audiobooks, podcasts and conduct calls with the Little Bird. It is perfect for that. I do listen to music with this too, and it is perfect for what I need it for. Great value for money and also House of Marley boasts of sustainable credentials. Also note the two year warranty (register your buds with House of Marley after purchasing). I have managed to drop it a couple of times as well and so far it's still functioning! They give you this cute charging cable and different size eartips. Love the design of the bamboo and green recycled, speckled plastic. The case does get scratched fairly easily, but I think that just gives it some character. It does mean however that the writing incl the serial number can get rubbed off/ hard to read so I'd definitely note that down at the beginning (see pics after 6 weeks usage). In the manual it says you need to unpair it to pair to a new device, but that's not the case. If you disconnect it from the first device it has no issues connecting to the second one. The confirmation tones from the buds were an absolute delight and they're not very loud so they won't hurt your ear like some beeps from other buds. They work in mono-mode too which is mostly how I like to use it around the house and outdoors. Minor criticism: 1) I have small-ish fingers and I as the case cover only opens to a tight 90 degrees, I find it difficult to take the buds out of the case. 2) When on lowest volume I can definitely hear some static in the background - this can be down to my phone or the audio quality however. I'm not too bothered by it. The case's battery indicator is the flashes on the bottom when you pop an earbud in. It is very easy to miss and I get caught out the battery being low.

I bought these House of Marley Little Bird earbuds from Amazon Warehouse about a month ago and have been using them ever since. There are a couple of minor negatives. I found that the sound quality was good but lacked a bit of bass for my liking. But after adjusting the EQ in my music streaming app, this was no longer an issue. I also find the earbuds a little awkward to remove from the case as the lid doesn’t flip open fully - anyone with large fingers may also find it a little awkward. Finally the charging/battery level indicator is on the base of the case, so it’s a little awkward to see when you remove/replace the earbuds and the indicator lights up. On to the positives; the earbuds are discreet when in the ear and the battery life is amazing. The earbuds are still going strong after 3-4 hours, at which point my (popular fruit brand) pods would be dying. The case gives them a quick charge in only 15 minutes too, and the claim is that overall there’s 24hrs of playback on one charge (earbuds plus case). The earbuds are also fairly easy to use, once you master how many long and short taps are required on each side to perform the various functions. Once paired, they connect automatically to the last connected device. If you wanted to use them with multiple devices, you’d need to disconnect them from the last used device first. The earbuds come with a short USB-C charging cable and three different sizes of ear adaptors in different colours. The product uses recycled plastics and wood trim and is lightweight. They’re probably made to be about as sustainable as this type of product can be. I must admit to being unsure when I first tried them but I’ve grown to love them - and for under £30 they represent great value.

Comfortable with a good battery life. Experiencing a few random drop outs recently which drops it down a star.

I love Marley’s headphones and have always thought the pricing was brilliant but even then, i wasn’t expecting such good sound from £30 earphones. I tested them with everything from deathcore to jazz, the sound is balanced and crisp with plenty bass (but not too much like in beats), although the highs are a little quiet you cant complain when they're only 30. My only gripe is that the case is very finicky with the friction of the bamboo sides making them harder to pull out and the lid of the case sitting where your fingers want to go, but it feels like good quality (recycled!) plastic and comes fully charged which I appreciate. Overall they’re a brilliant pair of earphones for what they cost and I’d definitely recommend them

Connectivity isn’t great and they are difficult to keep in ear due to the shape. Sounds great, but I never doubted that, Marleys have a great quality sound.

These earbuds have really good sound quality and are comfortable to wear all day. One charge easily lasts my entire 8-hour work shift, which is a huge plus. They connect quickly and stay reliable throughout the day. For the price, they’re very affordable and definitely worth it. Great value overall!
