X-Chef Beverage Dispenser Spigot Replacement

I make several beverages and have a lot of containers that require spigots. Most of the containers I purchase come with plastic or cheaply made spigots. When you are brewing kombucha or kefir water, you need a quality spigot that is food grade and made of (304) stainless steel. This spigot fits both those criteria. It is well made, the gaskets are quality, and thick. There is no leakage. They are rust resistant and look great on my glass dispensers. They are easy to assemble and easy to use. They have a very nice flow. Now that I've tried one and know the quality, I'll be ordering about 5 to keep on hand to replace my older ones with. Highly recommend this product for your beverage dispensers.

Was as pictured. Very sturdy metal material. One did leak at first but hasn’t since. Fit perfectly in the 2 gallon mason jar. Seems very stable.

It is so much better than the plastic Spigot! I feel secure that it will not leak like the plastic one does, and the water comes out faster as well!

This is very durable (compared to the crap that the glass jar came with) Easy to install. Easy to wash properly. Pretty lightweight for being sturdy. Looks awesome. Water flows well.

Quality metal valve. Very sturdy and durable. Must have for anyone with glass beverage dispensor.

I like that it is metal and I like the look and the sturdiness of these. I like the option to control the speed. Easy to install and no leaks. Only issue is that sometimes, if I don’t have the tap fully open and I am filling a glass or water bottle with a more narrow opening, it sputters water a bit and I have to wipe the counter. Does not happen every time though and a minor issue.

Surprisingly it's actually 304 stainless. Put a small amount of acid with a chemical indicator for high levels of manganese and other metals existing in low quality stainless like 200,201,203. But it's actually 304. the blue acid after a few minutes never turned red.

These taps are really good, do the job amazingly well. Go on easy and no dipping or leaking. The old one the seal had been ripped by a fault in the glass at the tap, so before installing the new one I used very fine sand paper to smooth it, worked really well, and so the tap will last longer than if I had just put it straight on.

I bought these spigots to replace the original old and leaking plastic spigots on two Mortier Pilon kombucha jars. Believe it or not, Mortier Pilon does not supply replacement spigots as a spare part!! Go figger! Anyway, these are much better quality than the originals, are easier to use (you don’t have to press against a spring to keep them open), have a better flow rate and don’t ever clog up with kombucha sediment. VERY highly recommended!

I am very happy with this spigot, it has a really good flow, the old one I have was barely dripping.

Perfect!!! Ordered to replace the cheap plastic spigot that came with my dispensers (which I use in my laundry room for detergent and fabric softener). Shipping took awhile but worth the wait. No instructions, but a quick YouTube search solved that problem. Excellent quality and decent price. Very satisfied and highly recommend.
