Russell Athletic Men's Big & Tall Dri-Power Short-Sleeve Polo Shirt

My husband is 6'6" and roughly 300 pounds. He has an extremely long torso even for his height. I like the length of this shirt but it's even a little long on him but it's ok. It's also a lot wider all around than the average 3x. That's ok though. We're expecting it might shrink some after washing. I was hoping the material would be like the champion dry wick golf shirts but it's not. It's more woven and rough. The color is also a lot darker than in the picture. Despite all that my husband still wanted to give it a try so I'll update if anything changes. I think he was just happy to have a shirt he could move around in that will still cover him. I might try the 2XLT next time depending on how this one washes up.Edit* my husband no longer wears the shirt because it is too uncomfortable around the collar. It keeps rubbing on his neck. The shirt also did not shrink in the wash. It’s stillVery big on him.

It's a nice shirt, it's deep black, it fits seemingly true to size and flows nicely.However, although it came in a sealed package there was a tiny white stain on the fabric. It smells completely new so it must have been in the manufacturing process and or handling process of putting it into the bag. 1 star reduced for that, and I was able to get the stain out. It was just two round white marks about the size of a pencil eraser.I'll likely be buying more later this week after I've worn it for a full day to see how it wears during a normal businessday.Suggestion to manufacturer (not that I think they read this and all....) but perhaps make the Russel logo in black thread instead so that it doesn't stick out as much making it more appropriate for work for people that are not named Russel, Ralph, Richard, Rodney and the like.

Got several of these shirts, as I was born with an extra long snake torso and a build that puts all my fat in my belly. Most shirts leave me showing my belly to everyone because of this, and I feel self-conscious.Also, I bicycle about 12 miles every day commuting to university and back, and live in a very hot, humid climate. Cotton clings and holds the heat in and makes a mess. These shirts.. don't. They're cool, and I look good when I get to uni. A few minutes indoors and the shirt is dry again.Unfortunately, I was washing them in the regular laundry. They shrink in high heat, so now they've gone from XL-T to plain old Large, and I can't tuck them in anymore. On doing some research, synthetic fabrics tend to shrink a bit in high heat.Durable, comfortable, well made - but no matter what the care instructions say, make sure to wash cold and hang to dry to keep them the right size.

This shirt is a bit smaller in the neck than other Russel Polo shirts I've purchased. However, the Dri-Power variety is one I'd consider far superior to the regular counterparts.Being a frugal person, I often opt for the standard shirts as a way of conserving money (The regular ones are half the price of the Dri-Power ones).Still, I recently moved to Texas, and it's far too hot for the standard counterpart. This shirt is a bit lighter, but still feels like it won't blow around in the wind. And happily for me, it feels about ten degrees cooler than I do in the standard polo. After wearing this for a few hours, I still feel pleasantly cool, which is not something I could ever say in the regular polo counterpart.Well worth getting half as many shirts in exchange for the comfort level I feel in each one.

I love this shirt, I wear a 3XLT and it's a size that can be difficult to find and one that's more prone to variations in size from one manufacturer to another. My wife bought me some brand on amazon that we'd never used before and they all showed up and were immediately returned when they fit like they were 2 sizes too small. She ordered me some Izod ones that fit as expected and I ordered a Russel shirt to try. The Russel shirt fits great and feels great at a fraction of the price of the Izod ones. I'm thrilled about the outcome of this "give it a try" venture and will definitely recommend for big & tall needs.

The look is exactly what I wanted but, I could do without the big "R" logo on the sleeve that the pictures don't show. I was hoping to wear this with a pair of dress slacks (and I still will) but, now I have to figure out how to hide the logo. Besides that, great fit and style!

I liked very much a shirt made of the nylon type of new fabric that I wore almost by accident during a trip when I ran out of clean clothes (different brand). Normally I was shunning the slightly plasticky feel. Technology has improved I guess and these breathable fabrics do dry quickly and I wanted another one.This is relatively thick, looks ''ironed'' and is comfortable. I suspect that the polyester sports fabrics are of several grades, Even though this is an uninformed opinion, this shirt is indeed fine, but not the top grade of some athletic equipment. By no means I feel it is a wrong product, only not worth five stars.

This shirt is perfect for those who are big or those who are tall, or both!!My guy has a bit of a belly, mostly he's tall and he has very, very broad shoulders. Usually, even if the shirt fits his shoulders, it is way too short. The bottom of shirts fall at the top of his pants - if he's lucky. Almost belly shirts. And heaven forbid he raise his arms!But this shirt fits PERFECT!!Even after washing and drying - though, I did wash and dry on delicate cycle.The fabric is wonderful, also. He's doesn't like the heat one bit, but we live where it gets terribly hot. But this shirt breathes enough that he's very comfortable in it. I'm ordering more as soon as I can.
