These sanding discs are fantastic! I took on the job of sanding down nearly 100 years worth of paint off our 1930s staircase and I wanted to cry half way through.These discs go through any varnish or however many layers of paint with ease! Really robust they took down paintwork amazingly and for a 13 step staircase and skirting boards plus side of the stairs I only used half of the packet. I did use heat gun on some bits so bare that in mind but overall it was mostly a hard week of sanding paint down.Really good quality sanding discs, they last a while and they are a fantastic value for quantity for a pack of 25!Highly recommend these.

OK, it's my fault, not the product's...when I spotted these on Vine my brain must have burped because I read the size as 125mm. And they're not 125mm. They're 225mm. And for a plasterboard sander...not my orbital sander! Oh, well...Not all is lost though. I have a 225mm bench sander, and with a disc of hook fabric attached to the platen I can use them on there. The grit seems well bonded, and they seem good quality, and they'd easily abrade plaster down quickly. So, whilst not used for their intended purpose, I'd be happy to buy them should I ever need plasterboard abrasives.

I ordered these in error thinking they were 125mm sanding discs for standard sanders. My error - it clearly states 225mm ( I didn't even know there were 225mm ones)Having said that they really are sturdy gritty beasts and work really well once I d cut them down to size to fit my sander.Sorry but I haven't tried them on a 225mm dry wall sander.

These are large (225mm) discs.They are as described 'P40' grade and they appear to be that grade.They have felt style backing allowing connection to velcro style devices, with evenly spaced holes.The discs last accordingly (it depends on the material and how hard you press).Patting them after each use seems to prolong the life of the disc.56pence per disc at time of writing review (£14 for 25) seems decent value.

Review: 225mm Sanding Discs. Zero complaints to comment on here - they grip properly & evenly, the grain feels and works like other 40 sanding discs, the holes line up. This is what you want from sanding discs, & the edges aren’t lifting because the grip is decent. 5* rating from me, zero complaints.
