He knew he was the best. He knew he was everyone's favorite guy. You may think this tale as old as time has been told before. You may know about the Beauty, and the Beast, and the curse they broke together. But some stories have more than one ending. Some stories have more than one villain. Such is the story of Gaston. Growing up, young Gaston and the prince were brothers in all but blood. Their boyhood adventures led them throughout the many rooms of the castle, and into the deep woods beyond. The woods that were home to the legendary Beast of Gévaudan, a terrifying creature whose presence loomed larger than life in their imaginations. Then one fateful night, a violent tragedy changed their lives—and their friendship—forever, setting each of them down a very different path: the first, of greed and entitlement, the second, of determination to right the wrongs of the past. The prince, as we know, paid a price for his wicked ways. And Gaston, fueled by the magic of three meddling witches, grew ever more haunted by a singular mission: to become the hero who killed the Beast. Review: 10/10 worth it - Absolutely amazing. Got it for a Christmas gift for myself, started it on Christmas day finished it today. 424 pages and I'd read it again. Heck I probably will. If you love Gaston since he's the only real Disney villain left, you'll enjoy this book. One thing I wish that would happen and what I'm about to say next is a spoiler however you'll put two and two together quickly. . . . . . . I wish we were given an extra chapter for The Prince/The Beast and the servants to have a moment of recognition after they'd turned back to normal, regaining their memories and of the like. I think it would've been heartbreaking for The Prince, Mrs. Potts and the rest to find Gaston's body and just weep. Maybe making a grave next to his mothers in the same marble of his mothers. Obviously, The Prince tells Belle about his past with Gaston, and she helps him mourn the loss of his friend. I just think it would've been a nice touch Review: Yes! - I've been a fan of Serena Valentino for a few years now. I love her books and seeing the different perspectives of the villains and characters that she writes about! Its cool seeing a different backstory to a character we know about. I know theres other respective authors out there who may be doing the same thing but theres just something about Valentinos books that always keep me engaged and interested. I get lost in her stories and find myself relating to the characters and feeling for them as their story unfolds. I just love how she writes! She's just an amazing author! I definitely recommend her books to those who love to read. Im looking forward to her next projects! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #24,945 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #51 in Teen & Young Adult Fairy Tale & Folklore Adaptations #62 in Teen & Young Adult TV, Movie, Video Game Adaptations #69 in Teen & Young Adult Myths & Legends | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,016 Reviews | ## Images ![Kill the Beast: A Tale of Everyone's Favorite Guy (Villains) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pZsrkaaQL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Language, Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 worth it *by C***K on December 29, 2025* Absolutely amazing. This is a series that NEEDS to be read in order. It will.not make any sense otherwise. However i highly reccommend this series the original stories we know behind the scenes and through a while new eye. It has been amazing and i cannot wait till the newest one is released. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kill the Beast (Villains) - Fire and Fate (Villains) - Never Never-Villains, Book 9 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/574368150-kill-the-beast-a-tale-of-everyones-favorite-guy-villains](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/574368150-kill-the-beast-a-tale-of-everyones-favorite-guy-villains) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
