Having previously bought similar items I guessed the repeating theme would be the case, but they can be painted differently and as long as they are kept apart they work well

Dapol Platform Figures
Promoted on Amazon as containing 36 figures, the set actually contains 39 pieces as 3 luggage barrows are also included. There are 3 identical sprues with 13 different pieces on each, so you have 3 of each item; men, women, and children. And barrows! On the packaging Dapol point out the age of the mouldings (they were initially produced in, I think, the 1950s) but don’t let this ‘disclaimer’ put you off. The figures are very detailed, well-proportioned and realistic (no corpulent garden-gnome types with comic expressions here) and only one chap seems to have an un-formed left hand at the end of his arm – possibly the reason for the disclaimer. If, like me, you want your miniature world peopled by folk wearing raincoats, trilby hats, sensible shoes and 1950s-ish railway uniforms rather than tracksuits, baseball caps, trainers and T-shirts, this is the set for you. Some careful application of matt paints and you’ll soon have a very worthwhile set.

They look way too large compared to correct size bachnann figures, shame as they look ok once flash removed
