Car just detected it, worked great, very surprised at how easy!
I usually don't pick products I'm skeptical of, but this one seemed intriguing, so I tried it!This worked right out of the box, I did not have to install an app on the device or my phone. I just plugged it in, and my vehicle asked to start apple car play (which surprised me since it says it's android). The actual device that comes up is android using apple car play (So make sure you have Apple Car Play enabled). I was able to sign in with my google account, download apps, and play videos and watch YouTube and Netflix. This also allowed me to use the video while travelling, which is awesome for my back-seat passengers who've always asked me to make that screen show them a movie, but I couldn't do it.The audio is perfectly in sync with the video, no lag, and the device seems peppy. It probably depends on which vehicle you have, but for mine, this was super easy to setup and use, and I'm really happy with it! I'd recommend it to other people with similar configurations!

Does not stay connected
Product gets really hot. Disconnects often. When on a call it’s delayed when speaking with someone. I’d say something and the other person doesn’t register what I said until after 30 seconds. For the price lost of faults and I’d stay away can find cheaper alternatives that I’m sure would be better.

Can not use CarPlay and YouTube at the same time
Here is how this works. The box connects to the vehicles entertainment system and uses the screen to display an Android style interface which has apps such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. In order to stream it needs a hotspot and that requires the box's wifi to be connected to the hotspot. Because of this you can not use CarPlay, simply because it needs to connect wirelessly via wifi. So either you have wireless CarPlay, or the included Android style interface. It's not something that works for me. Also, I found that when using the wireless CarPlay feature the audio is significantly lagged. At least a second or second and a half. I'm still going to play around with it and see what I can figure out that works for me, but I was anticipating more.

Outdated, Laggy, and inconsistent performance...
I was excited to get this media box specially to use while I am charging my EV and im sitting in the car for a long period of time. I typically use my phone to stream shows or movies. With this media box, i was excited to watch on a bigger screen and free up my phone.Setup was easy, simply plug it in and it will auto adjust the screen resolution based on your car (I am using this on a Bolt EUV and Ioniq 5). This does require a data connection, so i just turn on my hot spot and that it. I have experience with Android system, it is simple and very similar with IOS. I went through the Google Play store and downloaded my apps. The box comes preloaded with netflix and youtube. however, they are outdated and requires an update prior to use. This can be done once logged in the play store. Note that Disney+ does not work and is not compatible with the system (Limitation from Disney end).So far this has met what i wanted it for, I am able to watch netflix and play youtube, and even listen to music via spotify. However, after using it for a while now i noticed more issues that its become inconvenient to use.1. Security Update and Google Play system was last update in July 5 2021, and Feb 1, 2021. There seems to be no way to update this through the box. Contacted the seller with no response for the update patch2. The box keeps thinking im located in China. Even though i have the time format and time zone set to my location, it keep showing time in 24 hour format and time zone in China. This also meant that navigation keeps showing kilometers vs miles. Once in a while the time corrects itself but then on the next restart, it goes back to the wrong format and timezone.3. Laggy performance. The box takes a while to start, usually ive already driven off for a mile or two before it finally boots up. Then, switching apps is a pain. I tap on youtube, wait...wait..wait.. then it finally opens up, and then you deal with slow reacting scrolling, or when typing on the search box, its like a toddler typing for you...it really becomes frustrating when compared to how snappy newer or even older phones. For example, my 2019 samsung tablet is so much more snappier and responsive. Audio is also lagging. sometimes it depends on your connection, but even with a stable connection, there is still a delay on the audio.4. Random rebooting. Unsure if its the box overheating from trying to process or it is crashing from all the data processing. This makes me think that hardware just simply doesnt have enough processing power being demanded by current apps.I was hoping this would be my daily system when in my car, but sadly i will be sticking to carplay so that i can have proper navigation and high quality music playing at the same time and even the ability of having a split screen (which the Fitally media box doesnt do). There is also the concern of security since it is outdated. Hoping that an update will fix all this issue. will update when that time comes but for now, suggest stick with your tablet or your phone for watching media in the car.

Quirky but works well enough
I got this so my kiddo could watch Youtube in the car. It does work but not without some quirks. In order to watch Youtube you have to connect this box to wifi so you have to task your phone to be a hotspot and then the Android app basically takes over. During this time, you can't access the Carplay features which I suppose is ok but a much simpler solution would be to just have this box use the screen mirroring process which is already a part of iOS. Then you wouldn't have the switching back and forth between the Android apps and Carplay. In short, it works but it's an over-complicated solution when a much better (and easier) solution exists.

Waste of Time!
This item does not work at all. Yes, it powers up but it impossible to move between apps.I have a 2018 Mercedes Benz. I can see the screen but it simply does not work. I advise to skip past this item. Do not waste your money. I was never able to really see it in action. I am so disappointed.

neat idea
I like the idea of using this Wireless CarPlay Adapter and Android Auto Wireless Adapter so that I am not locked into using Android Auto all the time.....the unit did pair up with the system in my truck on the first try and I am now figuring out the rest of using this easily.....
