I read the bad reviews and decided to ignore it and give this item a try. I LOVE IT!! Things to know.. PROS & CONS 1. This holds a gallon of water and is quite a bit heavier than a gallon of milk. It is also a much thicker plastic. 2. Yes it sweats and has condensation... Hello it's plastic, spend more money on one that doesn't if that's an issue for you. 3. Yes it is harder to clean, but use common sense it has a handle so no you won't be able to clean every nook and cranny. This is also only for water... water isn't dirty. 4. Do not use scalding hot water or wash in dish washer to clean. It is obviously not microwave or dishwasher safe plastic. That should be obvious by the feel and or texture. 5. Since it is very heavy when full or loaded with I've and water. Yes chances are if it falls even a few feet it will break. 6. People need to stop acting like they spent a fortune on this item and it is defective. For the cost it works fine and does its job. 7. Great way to motivate yourself to drink water the lines with times are a huge help.

I love this jug. It's big, and it has a special lip to drink out of. It had a drink lip and a long tall inserted straw.

Buy this water bottle. Just do it. You need more water. This is a bottle that holds water. It has nice little graphs to show you how much to drink. Just buy it. It even comes with a nice little scrubby brush to clean it with. In all seriousness, I do have a couple of (honestly, quite miniscule) complaints. First is that it can be a bit hard to get the cap off for some reason. I'm not sure if it's because the tolerances are tight, or if it's just hard to find the right kind of leverage on it. I've actually managed to cut myself on the flashing from the injection molding while trying to open it. It's not serious, but I would probably avoid holding the bottle by the handle when unscrewing the cap. The other tiny gripe I have is with the seal on the straw cap. The stopper that plugs the air vent when the cap is closed works fine, but the seal created in the straw itself when you close the cap fails when the air inside the bottle heats up. I encounter this problem because I work in a restaurant, and store the bottle in the walk-in cooler while I'm working. When I take the bottle out, the air heats up, expanding, slowing forcing the water up, through the straw, and in this case, it's strong enough to overpower the clamped shut silicone straw, and water leaks out the top. I'm willing to overlook this, because understanding the science behind why this happens makes me feel smart, and I like that. I have a smaller bottle that doesn't have this problem, but I suspect that may just be because of the difference in size. By the time I'm half-way through my shift, there's more air in this bottle than the entire volume of the smaller bottle I have, so that's a lot more potential for increased pressure when the bottle is heated up. Buy the bottle. Be hydrate.

This is my 3rd time purchasing this bottle. Once you drop it, it cracks easily. But this is the only clear gallon I found that my job will let me bring in, because I work in a high-security prison. It’s easy to use and carry around.

First impression- I don't know how i missed that it's not dishwasher safe but apparently I'll be doing a lot of hand washing this summer. It's smaller than i was expecting, but i suppose that's a good thing. The plastic is fairly thin but not horribly thin. If i hold the bottle by the handle and then with my other hand i can squeeze the bottle, and it will bend in. It's not the hard Nalgen bottle type plastic. The nylon strap is permanently attached. But overall as long as this thing doesn't leak on me it should be good to go. The handle is comfortable and I love the color! Update - I've been using this for a few months and I've added a star because it really is a great waterbottle. The strap can get a bit grimy out in the field and you do have to hand wash it but I love the chug lid, I hate sucking at straws when I'm sweating bullets and need water. The handle is awesome as well. I can hang onto it while the truck is jerking around (while someone else is driving of course) and still get a drink with this firmly in my grasp. Overall i would buy again and would recommend as well. Side note - Customer service is second to none. Can't say enough about that. Just fantastic

I purchased the orange/teal color. I took it to work, was filling it up at the ice/water machine & received a compliment as to it being pretty. I was super excited to try this but so far hate the straw, it’s flimsy to try to drink from. I’m hoping the chug lid is more fun. I’ll try to update if it is, especially since the chug lid was the main appeal to me for this specific bottle other than the appearance, colors, etc. I have a stainless steel 1/2 gallon jug already & it’s so heavy due to it being metal so I keep it in my car for refills to smaller things I may be drinking from. I bought this one & another brand (both 1 gallon), one to keep at work & the other for home. My daughter stole the other one as soon as I showed them to her, I’ll have to buy another for myself & possibly my other daughter as we’re all big water drinkers & always running out of bottled water. Update: the chug lid is the better option for me so overall this bottle is all stars for what I like!

This is a nice water jug. Despite the fact that it holds a gallon of water, it's really not that heavy. The integrated handle and the strap make it easy to use. And because it holds so much water, it goes forever between refills. I like it!

Perfect to track your water intake

This is the second bottle I get. The first one broke within the first three weeks. I thought maybe I had bumped it or something so I got a second one. This time I did nothing to it and it just chipped and got everything soaking wet.

It's a Great water bottle and helps me keep track on how much water I have each day. I would recommend this water bottle.

Does NOT go in the dishwasher. Otherwise nice big bottle but now it's all distorted.
