Great Image
This is a great image, it got really hard in one area. Some numbers are impossible to read. I started snapping pics to zoom in but some you just couldn't read. Down side was the paint numbers rubbed off. Left me to counting the paint order. Other than that its perfect! I think I did good.

Great quality
I am more than thrilled with how this piece came out . I read previous comments and was unsure. I’m so glad I took the risk it truly is a fun process to recreate some of your favorite memories. This is the best custom paint by number kits so far !

Colors are wacky
First off, before you ever start a paint-by-number, definitely take multiple pictures of the unpainted canvas. You will need to refer back to the numbers throughout the actual painting. It will also help you try to figure out what the unnumbered parts might be. And this company leaves many unnumbered sections!! Yet, they also have some sections that are so tiny they can’t fit a legible number in the area. Even when I took multiple pictures of the blank canvas, the very tiny numbers can’t be read. The paint has good pigmentation. But a few of the paints were too thick to use without adding a drop or two of water. Most had good coverage. There were only a couple of paint colors that required a second coat.I posted the original photo I sent and a photo of the finished paint-by-number. The colors just seemed bizarre to me. This is a tender, candid picture of my mom and my grandmother caught in a warm embrace after giggling about something they’d said. But the colors, especially on my mom’s face are so harsh. I ordered the 48 color spectrum in hopes that more color variations would be detected. But my mom’s face came out so dark brown and purple. Maybe paint-by-number isn’t the best way to capture faces. I’ve done two other paint by numbers and they came out gorgeous. But they were also not photos.

Dog Paws are Blue!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I do not enjoy giving negative reviews however I cannot recommend this PBN kit....PROBLEMS:1) MATCHED WRONG COLOR PAINTS!2) Canvas was not in color to match the paint as it was shown in the description3) The reference photo that came back with the kit was not even as big as a postage stamp (see video)!4) The numbers on the canvas did not match the numbers on the paint pots (there was a chart showing the corresponding numbers so that you could write them down on top of the paint pot lid to match the canvas though but what an INCONVENIENCE!)I have just gotten started painting Lily, a friend's Pekingese dog. Lily has white feet and although I got white paint, I just realized they matched light BLUE PAINT for her feet and the other parts of her white fur (see the reference photo I submitted upon purchase). Of course, #21 Light Blue is the first color I painted and I did not notice what parts I was painting then. I just selected one number to start painting on. I was going to paint this as a gift for my friend because Lily passed away but I have no idea what this PBN will look like when I'm done. There is absolutely no way I will ever be able to give this as a gift. THE COLORS ARE ALL WRONG! I was given green paint for the grey sofa and a BRIGHT PINK (see video and look at Lily) for who knows what ???????because there is ABSOLUTELY NO BRIGHT PINK ANYWHERE IN THE PHOTO!!The brushes were ok but I used some I already had in conjunction with what was included in the kit. The paint was not dried out but it was sort of thick; however, after doing some research I remedied that with some Montmarte Acrylic Flow Medium. It seems to be pretty good stuff and unlike adding water to the paint, it allows the paint to go further without losing pigment or degrading the binder in the paint. I only add a drop at a time until I get a desired consistency though because I don't want to make it too thin. Just thought I would mention that in case anyone decides to purchase any PBN kit. It's really not a bad idea to use acrylic flow medium in any PBN Kit and I highly recommend using it instead of water.I purchased one of these kits for a friend as a Christmas gift and one for myself as shown in my review photos. I only hope the one I gave my friend is not as horrible as this. The canvas I had made for my friend was of her two daughters and I would hate to know that this company matched blue or bright pink paint for their Caucasian faces. Needless to say, I will NOT purchase from this seller again. It's probably not likely that I could get a refund at this point even though the time hasn't run out yet. I still have one day left to return it but it's probably more trouble than it's worth to deal with the stress of it.In closing.... I can't, in good conscience, recommend this PBN kit. I am not an experienced painter but I hope that when I am finished I will be able to correct it with correct color paints as others have done. I have bought a multitude of different colors. One more thing... IF you purchase the 24-color kit and your photo has less than 24 colors, you will not receive 24 colors. Instead of getting extra paint in a color(s) that's used a lot, you'll get the number of colors their computer says your photo has but... whatever. If anyone is still reading this, I apologize for such a lengthy review but, again, I do not recommend this PBN kit so purchase at your own risk.

It's pretty good but if you don't have painting experience don't get this.
I bought this because even though I am an artist I have a weakness when it comes to forms like people and animals so I got this paint by number but there was a few issues it went from a paint by number to a paint by me. Not only was there a lack of paint for some of the numbers but some of the areas had no numbers. Or there were areas with 2 numbers (I blended them) not knowing what to do about them I could only guess. Than on top of that the picture doesn't come out as good as they say it would, but this also could be because I had to compromise with colors because of the fact that I didn't have enough of a couple colors. Like I said if you are a beginner painter this is not for you. If you can paint it might be for you if you want to take the chance.

"framed" means DIY frame
The media could not be loaded. I ordered a "framed canvas." I received a rolled canvas with 4 wooden slats I had to ask someone else to put the DIY "frame" together for me because didn't have the hand strength to do it alone. No where in the "framed" description does it say that assembly is required. I was expecting a canvas that was already stretched on a "frame" like in the picture. I paid extra so that it would not arrive rolled on a foam pole. Now I have to find someone who can help me stretch and attach my rolled canvas to the wooden slats. My order did not arrive "framed." It was sent in pieces with assembly required.Basically that means I paid extra to buy a "framed" canvas and now I get to pay a hobby shop more money to stretch the canvas and attach it to the DIY "frame" because I don't have any experience stretching a canvas and mounting it--which is why I was willing to pay extra for it to arrive ready to go. I'm really bummed about this.It feels like "bait and switch."I have not yet started painting it, so I cannot yet speak to how well they color matched my photo or the quality of the paint. Though it does say the painting is an "oil" but they smell like acrylics...
