It is holding my husband's flag. It is a little lighter in oak color than my Curio cabinet, but it looks nice and draws my eyes to it.

I tried out the Flag Display Case for a 5' x 9.5' American Veteran Burial Flag, and it serves as a dignified way to honor a loved one's service. The solid oak wood with a mahogany finish gives it a prestigious look, and the tempered glass front adds to the quality while ensuring the flag remains visible and protected. It fits a standard folded military flag perfectly, preserving the memory in a respectful manner. However, there are minor issues with the backing, which feels a bit flimsy and requires careful handling when placing the flag inside. Additionally, the fastening system could be more secure to prevent any movement of the flag, especially when the case is being moved. Despite these small concerns, the case is a beautiful piece that respectfully embodies one's pride and gratitude for a veteran's service.

I am so happy to have this display case to display the American flag from my father's casket. Patriotism is so important and displaying and American flag for your family and to help teach them about the country. My father was a Vietnam Veteran and he was so deeply proud to be an American. He never lost sight of how fortunate he was. By displaying his flag, I can continue to share that with my children.

This is the kind of thing you don't want to need but if you must.. you want to be able to appreciate it—and we do.The color is beautiful, a rich reddish brown that will fit seamlessly with many color schemes and decor. It was made well, with quality materials, and is just the right size for the flag within.The back is a little flimsier than I'd hoped but it keeps everything nice and secure so I can live with that.Overall: I'm glad to have found this gorgeous case to protect and display an irreplaceable symbol of bravery and sacrifice.

It was not worth the money

Nicely made and finished. Easily installed on a wall with included template and hardware or set on a flat surface. A bit more depth would be nice--our burial flag does not quite fit all the way into the case.

This is beautiful. Makes me quite happy to be able to display my flag in it.
