Words cannot fully describe how important this work of Colby, et al. is to the field of higher education research. I first read it for a student development course but have since found it referenced in numerous peer-reviewed articles and in doctoral dissertations. I am certain I will return to its pages numerous times across the next several years.

This is a good book.
