AltraMen's Paradigm 7

These running shoes are fabulous! I usually would wear a size ten but as these were only available in a 9.5 I thought I would try them and I’m glad I did. The 9.5 is a perfect fit both in length and width. My toes felt very comfortable and they are like walking on air with a very supportive sole. The green colour is very unusual and marks these out as something special. I also found that they made my feet look smaller which was an added bonus! Highly recommended!

My normal size is a 10, but as the closest to this was a 9.5 on the Vine programme, so I thought I would give them a try. To my delight they were a great fit, hugging my feet, but not so tightly as to create hot spots or sores.I am not a runner, but I do like my trainers, and the vibrant colour and style of these is a super addition to my wardrobe.They feel super comfy under foot, and there is no way you are going to get a stone bruise in these.The tread pattern is good without being over the top, and they will not collect or hold a large amount of mud if you go off road.I have not had cause to clean them yet, but I would imaging this would be no different to others of a similar style.Summary, a very comfortable, attractive pair of trainers.

The Paradigm 7 trainers from ALTRA are a well designed pair of trainers with particular focus being made on comfort, fit and support of the foot. Even from an initial glance at the shoe, you'll notice that the profile is very different at the toe end. This has been done to fit around the natural shape of the foot rather than have the fully rounded, more conventional shape.The trainers are very comfortable to wear, have an excellent level of grip on the sole and also provides a nice level of bounce too. The only improvement I would have made is to have a little more height in the shoe at the toe end. I found that I could see the contours of my toes through the mesh top which was a bit off-putting visually, although it did not cause any discomfort.The pattern and colour scheme also looks great and the overall quality of construction is very high. That said, I did have a small stain on one of my shoes which can be seen in the attached pictures.All in all a great pair of trainers - easily recommended.

I had never heard of Altra before, and that's probably because I am not a runner/jogger however, I do love my trainers so thought I would give these a go. First impressions are great, they look well made and I like the styling. The Paradigm 7's are designed for the road and offer excellent cushioning with good stability. Even though they are quite a firm shoe they still feel plush and really don't feel too much different from a standard trainer.They are an incredibly comfortable set of trainers that offer excellent support. There is decent flexibility and the Ego Max sole is brilliant offering a compression molded EVA which is tuned for a softer feel. The shoe offers plenty of room for standard sized feet and I believe there is even a wide version if required.Overall these are a brilliant set of active trainers that are just easy to wear everyday. They are comfortable, offer great support and look awesome. Yes they are quite expensive but you are getting a quality, premium shoe for your money.

Hubby is delighted with these sneakers, he said they are very comfortable even for long runs(and usually his feet get sore in other shoes). They hug his feet perfectly and pretty lightweight too

WOW just WOW. These are amazing.Best trainers I've ever got and used while training or jogging.I like to have my feet comfortable at all times and these are very snug and fit a teat. I'm size 9 and wow these are sooooooo nice in the fitting.At the time of the review they were £117.81 and RRP was £145 So they had a 19% reduction. Thats still a lot of money but they are 1 hell of a trainer shoe for the price.Well made everywhere. Look great, feel great and feet are so happy right now.When I buy trainers like these with the red bit on the front being glued on they ofter peel off. These look well glued on and won't budge.These must have my top score of 10-10. Very few items get this high score. These are exceptional trainers that are out of this World with quality.Very impressed and very happy to wear them.

I ordered these for my teenage daughter - the men's fitting is a good size for her as she needs to wear special insoles.She's taken up running with her dad and finding a good, supportive pair of trainers can be problematic for her. These ones however offer a comfortable fit whilst offering the extra support she needs. The trainers have a good padded fit to the back, with a nice wider fit around the toes. With my daughters foot issues, this has been great for her especially as she requires something with a wide fit. They offered a good positioning of the foot, especially whilst running, plus the trainers are extremely lightweight - although they look quite big on my daughter, the weight means that she doesn't feel like she's wearing small bricks lol. The overall quality is good throughout. I've read some other reviews commenting on bad quality but we've had no issues at all. They're everything I expected them to be with no faults or flaws. They're a lovely, comfortable pair of trainers. The fit might not be to everyone's taste, but for my daughter they're really good.

Please don’t miss this pair of superb running trainers. They are so comfortable and light to wear. I really like the colour green and the design of it. It’s very outstanding and fabulous. Run with confidence and joy. Highly recommend.

I have had 5 Altra Paradigms. The “7” is wonderful, I like it more than any other I have owned. My knees no longer allow me to run but these shoes really help with my knees and I can walk lots longer and much more comfortably.

I purchased the Paradigm 6 and returned them. The size 13 was too short and fit tightly, very unlike the Pradigm 5 I have. The 7 is not as roomy as the 5 but is confortable and seems to have more cushion and the rail keeps my foot properly aligned.

Love the shoes but unfortunately they seem to be a dark green not black. I put them against my black paradigm 6s and it is a very noticeable offensive in color.

Size US 13 fits me nicely in all other shoes and with these my toes are touching. Delivery also requires in-person and with a passcode they text you, so very inconvenient and defeats point of Amazon.
