I am an exclusive user of telescopic canes, but they tend to be flimsy and collapse unexpectedly at times. No problem with this came; this Kane locks into place and is very sturdy. This came is sturdy enough to be a striking weapon, when collapsed, but of course I would not do that. (smile). The glow in the dark function is pretty neat as well. I am pleased to see that Amazon is starting to offer a selection of Mobility canes. I hope they will continue to broaden their selection. The only problem I have with this came is the wrist strap. it is built into the hand grip, so there’s no way to replace it if or when it pops. The wrist wrap on mine popped, and I had to just tie the two ends together. if they just add a metal loop or something that you can replace it with your own wrist strap this came would be perfect. The wrist wrap is pretty sturdy, however, and it probably won’t break for a while if ever. The wrist strap also has a little stretchiness to it like bungee cord.

My husband received the cane one week ago. He loves the telescoping cane & found it easy to use. He likes how easily it can be collapsed & found it light enough to hold in his lap at restaurants & other public places. The cane is not white as the description indicates. He wants a white cane so he can be easily identified as being a blind person. One week into use he has lost the tip & we haven't yet found where to purchase replacement tips. When we do we'll get several to have on hand.

i love this cane. i love it better then a folding cane. it doesn't collapse on me or anything. i love glow in dark items and the fact this glows is awesome. it really dose glow. its very light weight too but not flimsy or anything, works great because i have had some strokes and other mobility issues with weakness on one side and i can easily use it on the weakened side with 0 issues. the reason for the 4 stars is because of the tip. on the first day of light use just walking 20 minutes to my appointment , the ground out side scratched up my tip completely and i worry it wont last long. the tip is not a rolling tip either. the tips is also a bit small and jap into cracks in ur not careful. it needs a rolling marshmallow tip that is bigger in size and rolls. i do wish it came with an extra tip at least, but i did find other exact canes selling from other people and found marshmallow tips for this cane so im gonna get them . i also do want to point out this cane is not adjustable like it stated, u cant put it at any length of height because it dosent lock into place like that as something would like sizing a mobility cane or crutches. so make sure u buy the correct size. also this cane is not white and red, its sliver and red, so if that is an issue for u then u might want to not get this. its no issues for me, the glow in dark is a night touch and great for outdoor use at night were i live. i do recommend this cane, but be on the lookout for the tip, it might not be good for everyone's needs and likes.

This is a nice light cane that is quick and easy to both deploy and collapse. Its size and design makes it very convenient to carry and store when not in use. It has a nice length and its weight makes it very easy to use. The only deficiency I could find is if you have any difficulty with your balance and need to use the cane for support, its light weight could be a weakness.
