World of Eric Carle, Around the Farm Animal 30-Button Sound Book - Great for First Words - PI Kids

I bought this as part of a birthday gift for my 2 year old niece. She loves books (more than toys) and animals - so this was a winner - AND it makes noise! Since receiving this a couple of weeks ago she can now say the names of 80% of the animals, and she will then play the correct noise for each. She could only say a few animals before this, like dog, bird, pig, horse, but in a few days she was saying so many of them! The only ones she struggles with is the likes of octopus, caterpillar, etc but they are hard words! I know she is at an age where she is a sponge, and all children develop at different paces, but I do think this book helped her pick up the words quicker as she could play with it by herself and press the words over and over again so she was really learning each word. The book itself is also beautiful so I highly recommend this as a gift for toddlers.

It's a well made book with lots of different noises. The pages are made out of paper, however so will be prone to rips. My main issue with the book is that the buttons need to be pressed with a bit more force. While it may something that's not really considered by most, for the kids who have sensory/motor issues it's a big thing. My brother managed to understand he needs to press harder, but this may not be the case for everyone so it's something to consider before purchasing. Otherwise it's a really good and colourful book which keeps him entertained for a while.

This book is just great for my 17 months old girl - she asks to read and listen to this book few times a day. It's a little bit shame, that the book isn't cardboard since it's perfect for the toddlers and they are not very careful readers :) My 4 years old son with his friend also enjoy this book - they like acting the different animals and making their sounds.

Great book but if you have a child or toddler that has a tendency to tear pages I would avoid. The pages are just paper, not cardboard and my daughter had it destroyed very quickly. I was raging considering the price. But.. is a great book and the sounds are really good

This book is amazing. It has kept my son entertained for so long, the buttons are easy to press for his 18 month old fingers. He can most of the noises now. And it’s helped him learn a few of the names of the animals. Would strongly recommend.

A beautiful book in the unique style of Eric Carle, the images are printed on quality paper and the accompanying sounds provide much entertainment for my daughter.

Big pictures bright colours nice images but thin easy to rip pages. I had a button break and it will drive you insane if this happens untill you pull it apart and make it unusable. I had a rabbit bounce noise for a week every 1 hour going off on its own throughout day and night then too every 10 mins after a week. It went off on its own every 10 seconds after that I lasted half a day until I took it apart I tried to scratch out the button sensor which worked for a few days then the dead button kept going off every 5 seconds it would go off again before it had finished untill I dismantled it and broke it and threw it away. Would not rebuy for my own sanity.

Las hojas son folios y los botones son duros por los tanto es un libro para niños mayores de dos años (el libro recomienda 3 años), en cada botón te dice el nombre del animal en inglés americano, lo cual está muy bien para que practiquen. Aunque mi niño de 3 años se enfada por la pronunciación americana, pero está muy bien. Como siempre Eric Carle no me falla.

J’adore ce livre, l’enfant même très jeune peut apprendre les noms des animaux de la ferme, avec la bonne prononciation, tout seul et sans avoir besoin de l’intervention de l’adulte. Je l’avais pris pour ma petite de deux ans cela ne fait même pas un mois et elle connaît déjà les 3/4 des animaux, avec une prononciation correcte! je dirais même meilleur que la mienne 😅. Avec mes plus grands 4 et 5ans on commence à lire les petites phrases puis je leurs pose des questions genre who gives us the milk ? Le son n’est pas dérangeant et la voix est agréable (même si j’aurais préféré avoir la voix d’Éric Carl que j’adore et à laquelle les enfants se sont habitués grâce au livre CD). Dommage qu’il n’existe pas beaucoup de livres similaires traitant de différents thèmes. Je vous recommande vivement ce livre, offrez le à vos enfants et laisser les faire la suite, ne vous inquiétez pas ils vont tout de suite adoré pianoter sur les touches et écouter les sons et apprendre sans se rendre compte.

I paid for this book 338,17 tl... money that go to trash. The book comes broken, The cat and dog buttons don't work, you have animals with sounds that are not their, the frog is a cat, the cow is sometimes a duck... anyway, don't buy it if you're in a different country like me, because you will send it back. I think they send the broken books to the far countries. For me even sending it back will be a big story, so I throw it
