30% VINEGAR GAL

I bought this bottle of supercharged vinegar not to eat or drink obviously, or use in salad, but because (1) it makes environmentally sound weed killer - get a 24 oz. bottle. Fill with 1/2 ounces of dish detergent, 1/8th cup of salt, and fill the rest with this vinegar. Kills the weeds in less than an hour. (2) It removes scale and rust from my 2 humidifiers. I use use it cut to 10% instead of 5% in edible supermarket bought bottles. It speeds up the process and my town's water supply has more calcium and iron than most. In fact, you wouldn't want to drink the stuff coming out of your tap unless you really like an adventure in bad taste and for heaven's sake, don't drink the 30% vinegar!

I put this in a sprayer bottle and use it to control emerging weeds. It is very effective for weed control without lasting harm to the environment . This is a very strong formulation, so I would not use it in the kitchen. They recommend wearing safety glasses and gloves.

Great cleaning product! Takes a lot of work out of cleaning.

Love this product as a natural way to kill weeds. It is safe for the dog to be in the backyard as soon as it dries with fear of any residual herbicide. Just be sure to wear a mask when spraying it.

We are old school and use vinegar to clean our home. We have 6 small dogs, and we specifically use this as a floor cleaner. 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water. It does a good job. And the floors feel clean, nonsticky, and not slippery after drying

I bought this to use as a brush and weed killer since regular commercial herbicides did not work on poison ivy and euonymus that is creeping into the yard. Found the recipe on Pinterest that includes salt and a small amount of dish soap. It works great! Load up your sprayer and get after any plants that you want to eliminate! Note that it is not a systemic herbicide that goes down to the roots, so you may have to spray the plants weekly over 2-3 weeks, but this will knock them out.

This strength of vinegar is amazing for many cleaning purposes, everything from tile floors to shower drains, toilet bowls to bird baths in the garden that get moldy in hot water. The 30% strength might seem strong to the nose in a closed room, but adding just a little bit of liquid dish detergent (such as Dawn) cuts the smell a lot. That combination of vinegar and a few drops of dish soap makes a powerful, non-streaky cleaner on tile floors.
