This review is for a variety of products all in one. This spring (2013) my wife and I put in 2 4'x20' raised bed gardens in the back yard for growing flowers and veggies. We live in Tennessee and the middle of the summer is hot and dry. I wanted a way to keep the plants watered and decided to convert a "spray zone" of our irrigation system to drip. I set up the garden with short rows that run the width of the boxes. I designed the garden with lots of short rows that run the 4' width of the boxes. Imagine a railroad track. The rails are the "feeder lines" that run the length of my setup, and the drip lines are the railroad ties that cut across the width of the garden (parallel with the rows of plants). I needed "feeder line" to bring the water to the drippers, and a variety of connectors to put it all together. I planned it all out on paper first, and then made sure I purchased enough parts. I cut all the tubing to size and layed it all out prior to putting it all together. It is very difficult to fit the tubing over the barbs, but once on it stays in place and doesn't leak. My hands ached after putting a bunch of the tubing together, so I ended up using leather work gloves which made things go a lot better.A few things to note:1) I don't have a rainbird setup, and this kit fit in great with my existing irrigation system.2) The tubing is a bit stiff and can kink easily, but works very well, so be careful when connecting things.3) The tubing and barbs are not the same inner diameter as stuff you can get at plumbing supply or home improvement centers. That means you can't mix and match, which is ok with me.4) I used some teflon plumbers tape when attaching parts that screw in.

This worked perfectly to add some drip irrigation to my existing sprinkler system. I had two sprayers that were sitting in a corner watering some rocks so I converted the to a drip system to water the potted plants that I always forget to water and the existing sprayers never sprayed high enough to water. I used the existing sprinkler body, just removed the head and popped in the filter and head from this product. I then added a drip manifold and it works perfectly.

The product is good, serves the purpose, no leaks. The installation of tubing, on each side, is extremely difficult for gentle hands - have to use a lot of power to slide the tubing in....

Great product designed to easily convert an existing 1/2 inch PVC sprinkler to drip system. Conversion made simple and easy with this product

I converted mine to a 1/4" drip on a corner pop-up. I can drip on a little plant and still use a pop up head to hit the grass. Great idea, works great except the spindle turns 360 deg freely. No way to hold directional flow like a normal pop-up. I will try a bead of silicone around the 1/2" shaft.

Always go with standard brands. They are easy to find pieces for anywhere and compare prices

I'm converting some unused sprinklers to drip. This guy converts a sprinkler to a 1/2, which is what I wanted to do. It slid right into the sprinkler body. I added a 3" riser because some of my sprinklers sank below-ground. Now they're flush with the surface and easy to connect up.

It worked out great.

Take spray head out, put new drip head in, connect drip line. Done in 30 minutes. Get extra pegs to hold the drip line where you want it (the cool plastic has a mind of its own). Works well, saves water, and keeps your plants happy.
