This knock-style wooden lead holder was created for those who prefer the feel of a wooden hexagonal pencil while enjoying the convenience and the advantage of a mechanical pencil. The lead holder has a natural wood body of premium American Cedar with its rich warm wood finish. The barrel diameter is slightly larger than a regular pencil to accommodate for adult hands. Its light weight and excellent balance make it easy to use for long periods without fatigue. The well-engineered clutch will hold the 2mm lead securely in place without slipping, no matter how much pressure is put on the lead. Located on top is a simple mushroom shaped knock button to release and return the lead back into the holder. The high-quality, Japan-made #1 B black lead is crafted by uniformly mixing pure graphite and clay, to achieve the ultimate resilience to breaking and the perfect smoothness. One 2mm #1 pencil lead is already included inside the holder. Perfect for writing, sketching and drawin, etc. Refill leads are available in packs of 5 in a sturdy cylindrical cardboard holder. ## Features - Hexagonal wooden holder made of premium American Cedar (eco tree) - 2mm, No 1 pencil black lead (#1 B) included - 2011 JAPAN STATIONERY OF THE YEAR Awarded - Convenient pocket clip / Lead refills available / Made in Japan - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005N41X36 | | Age Range Description | Kind und Erwachsener | | Age range (description) | Kind und Erwachsener | | Best Sellers Rank | 546,105 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 2,009 in Mechanical Pencils | | Body Shape | Hexagonal | | Brand | Kitaboshi | | Brand Name | Kitaboshi | | Closure Type | Button | | Colour | Natural Wood | | Drill Point | Medium | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04972572199511 | | Grip Type | Hexagonal | | Hardness | B | | Included Components | Mechanical Pencil | | Ink Base | Water | | Ink Colour | Black | | Ink colour | Black | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Ambidextrous | | Item Diameter | 2 Millimetres | | Item Dimensions | 18.8 x 3.6 x 1 centimetres | | Item Type Name | Kitaboshi 2.0mm Mechanical Pencil, Wooden Barrel with Pocket Clip, #1 B, Black Lead, 1ea (OTP-680NCP) | | Item Weight | 18 g | | Line Size | 2mm_and_above | | Manufacturer | Kita-boshi Pencil, Co, Ltd. | | Material | Wood | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Name | OTP-680NCP | | Model Number | OTP-680NCP | | Recommended Uses For Product | Drawing, Writing | | Special Features | Pocket Clip | | Style | Mechanical Pencil 2mm with Clip | | UPC | 785525748742 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Writing Instrument Form | Mechanical Graphite Pencil | | Writing Technique | pencil lead | | Writing instrument form | Mechanical Graphite Pencil | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Kind und Erwachsener - **Brand:** Kitaboshi - **Colour:** Natural Wood - **Ink colour:** Black - **Material:** Wood - **Model name:** OTP-680NCP - **Point type:** Medium - **Special feature:** Pocket Clip - **Unit count:** 1.0 count - **Writing instrument form:** Mechanical Graphite Pencil ## Images ![Kitaboshi 2.0mm Mechanical Pencil, Wooden Barrel with Pocket Clip, #1 B, Black Lead, 1ea (OTP-680NCP), natural wood color w/clip - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71dd7y2-XGL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Kitaboshi 2.0mm Mechanical Pencil, Wooden Barrel with Pocket Clip, #1 B, Black Lead, 1ea (OTP-680NCP), natural wood color w/clip - Mitsubishi Pencil Pocket Sharpener DPS6001P For Sharpener Uni 2.0mm Wick Holder - Kitaboshi Holder Refill, 2mm HB, 5 Leads (OTP-150HB)×3 Pack/total 15 Leads (Japan Import) [Komainu-Dou Original Package] --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/57315414-kitaboshi-2-0mm-mechanical-pencil-wooden-barrel-with-pocket-clip](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/57315414-kitaboshi-2-0mm-mechanical-pencil-wooden-barrel-with-pocket-clip) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
