I went on a trip to TN and took these along with a new tent I had purchased. The tent didn't work out so well haha. Tired, late at night, brand new tent, yada, yada,.....you know the drill. Fortunately I also had a 16x20 tarp and a roll of twine for emergencies, which we put up in a jiffy. The area was a camping facility so there weren't a lot of rocks so the hammer and pegs worked well. I wouldn't hesitate to use these in a rougher location and the pegs are for sure heavy duty without being too heavy. They will be in my regular travel gear.

Love them, however the hammer began to rust after 1 outing. Seems like it will be a maintenance item moving forward.

This works great and not too heavy. I love the hook part to pull stakes out.

These are heavy duty tent stakes. A lot heavier and more durable than I had anticipated. Though I originally got these for camping, I have been using them for something else currently. I have portable target stands for the range, and when the wind get's blowing, it can knock them over. Theres anchor points on each corner, so I've been using these to keep the stands anchored to the ground. They have been working great for that.The tips are plenty sharp, and they come with rubber boots over the tips to keep them from piercing the storage bag, or poking yourself. The hammer is heavier than I expected, and is a good size for pounding the stakes in. There's a lanyard on the hammer, and there's a hook for removing the stakes.Very happy with this set. The hammer and stakes feel plenty durable and should last a good long time. I keep the hammer and stakes in my truck along with a tarp and some emergency gear. These would work great if I get stranded and need to use them to stake down the tarp for an emergency shelter. At the current price of $19.98 at the time of this review, I think it's a fair deal.

I purchase this because my previous tent stakes which come with my tent are either missing or bended. This set is more than I expected. The stakes are heavier and longer. I like the hang hole parts to be metal instead of plastic, which will be more solid and durable. It's easy to set the stakes in using the hammer. The hook on the hammer can perfactly pull the stakes out. Great set! High recommend!
