This wire mesh is high quality and very sturdy. It cuts and holds its shape well, making it useful for a variety of DIY projects. Just be careful because the trimmed edges are extremely sharp. Definitely wear gloves while handling and cutting it.

Very helpful to keep vent covered. Nothing can get in except air.

Warning, these are super sharp and do not have a hem around the edges, so you need gloves. I installed one of these over my downspout drains over the 5" plastic drain in the ground to discourage raccoons from lifting the drain out and getting into the water, and it's worked so far. I'm considering laying them in the flower bet to discourage cats and squirrels but it would take too many and probably be harmful, so saved the additional wire for potential use up in the eaves where birds and wasps are trying to build nests where the roof areas intersect near the eave rafter vet areas because at the moment I have the sellers cardboard box tapped over those spaces (wink)

Great stainless steel mesh. Multiple uses and good to have on hand for DIY projects. Not cheap but IMO worth it for the quality. Edges are sharp but not a reason to avoid buying.

I was using this for a screen filter for a bucket. I had to cut a rough circle, which was easy to do with snips. The edges weren’t splintery/pokey as I experienced with other mesh of the same meshiness number.
