When they say 'ultra potency' gummies they're not kidding around. Each gummi contains 1.5 milligrams of vitamin B12, 625 times the USDA recommended intake of 2.4 micrograms. One gummi contains almost as much B12 as a person needs for a year and half. I've heard these sorts of supplements colloquially called a "megadose". If you're just looking for a run-of-the-mill B12 supplement this is *not* the product you want. None of the health claims for vitamin megadosing are endorsed or evaluated by the FDA, and the product labeling recommends consulting with a medical professional for a variety of health situations. With that disclaimer, if you and/or your medical professional have decided that an over-the-top dose of B12 is desirable, these gummies are a pretty good value for the money. The price you pay gets you a 60 day supply. (unlike many supplements, you only take one gummi per day) They taste like concentrated raspberry jam - sweeter and softer than most gummies - but still pretty tasty overall. Short story: not your average B12 supplement, but for folks that need/use extremely high dose B12 supplements a goodd eal.
