Lizano Salsa Sauce 9.46 fl oz (Pack of 2)

I was in Costa Rica years ago and loved this sauce. Had a craving for Tico food so I ordered this. Made some great grilled steak & chicken with it. Also fun just on nacho chips. Very versatile! Yum!

I purchased the Lizano Salsa Sauce and absolutely love it. Knowing it’s from Costa Rica makes it even better, since it has that authentic flavor that’s hard to find in other sauces. It has a rich, slightly tangy taste with a smooth blend of vegetables and spices that adds great flavor without being too spicy. I’ve used it on eggs, rice, beans, meats, burgers, and Gallo Pinto. It’s different from regular hot sauce or ketchup and has a delicious savory taste all its own.. The 21.1 oz bottle is a great size and lasts quite a while. Overall, this is a fantastic sauce that adds authentic Costa Rican flavor to dishes, and I’ll definitely be buying it again.

Good enough that I have brought back bottles from Costa Rica, now I can just buy it on Amazon! Goes great on so many things! Also while I like spicy, this is not. Amazing quality, seasoning, value, and no leaking from the container

I first encountered this salsa on a trip to Costa Rica and it is absolutely delicious. You can make a pot of rice and just eat it with this sauce and nothing else. It enhances everything on which you put it. The product arrived very quickly, which is more a review of Amazon's amazing delivery service than it is of the salsa. So why just four stars? Because I have three cautions to give you. First, I can't find anything that says hydrolyzed vegetable protein, found in this product, is bad for you, but I am not entirely comfortable with an ingredient that heavily processed. Second, it has a lot of sodium, which I didn't realize when I was using it in Costa Rica because I didn't see the ingredient list on the label. If you are avoiding sodium, you should skip this product. Third, my understanding is that hydrolyzed vegetable protein has a lot of glutamate, which is what is found in monosodium glutamate and is supposed to be a main part of the umami flavor. If you get MSG headaches, this salsa will probably give you a headache.

Delicious sauce you can use with various dishes, specially Costa Rican.

Salsa Lizano no ha bajado de calidad con los años, su sabor es el mismo. Yo se la pongo a todo. Recomendación: si no la has probado, compra la botella pequeña. En gustos se rompen géneros.
