Vent installed just like the original, recommend this RV vent to others.

Thanks to Alice, and Aaron reviews. 22"X22" is a number pulled out of the air by somebody, probably Heng. Thanks to other reviews I expected this vent to fit my need as my opening was more like 21 1/2" X 21 1/2". Measurements provided by seller or manufacturer are either stock, exterior, or made up numbers. To be as specific as possible: This item will fit a 21 3/8" X 21 3/8" opening EXACTLY. Should easily work up to 21 1/2" square opening without modifications but any larger and plan a project (perhaps flashing). Item arrived with a slight crack but these things crack like eggs so it didn't bother me. Great value for the money if you compare.

Truck camper

The product was quality, but it was 1/2 inch too small for the opening.The size I ordered to fit was 22x22, and the inside diameter that it should be is 22 3/4 x 22 3/4 but it was 22 1/4 x 22 1/4, so its 1/2 inch too small.The reason I gave it two stars was because I sent it back and they charged me a restocking fee, I wouldn't have minded the restock fee if I had ordered it wrong, but they need to put the inside & outside diameters clearly on the web page so you not ordering a size that won't fit.

the fit was a little off but it was manageable to make it work. i do have an older camper. the sizes do change over the years. so that's why i gave a 5. works like i need. don't forget the sealing kit.

Iam sad that the construction and materials are so flimsy. I installed it anyway and will see how well it holds up. Not a value product for the price. Now after having it installed for awhile, my opinion is still the same.Cheaply built. Poor seal, leakes a lot. Rattling all the time. For the money (250ish $ U.S.) I feel totally ripped off.

I thought these roof vents were a standard size, but unfortunately this was too small for my opening, which I am pretty sure is 24x24. Didn't realize it before I put all the butyl tape on it, now I am not sure if I can return it. Ultimately, I think I will be plugging the opening entirely because this has been very difficult to find the right vent.

FINALLY found the right hatch for our 1983 Lance camper.Great quality. Does it's job well.

Well it is simple to install however, this is cheap and flimsy. Corners not fully welded, and no room to make watertight unless u take it apart. I wouldn’t trust this in high winds.For me it will work fine I can make the adjustments needed to make is good. But truley disappointed in this. It wasnt expensive, I think this should be half the price still.Just be prepared. Don’t expect a high quality product.

This product is "flimsy" but if you need an "escape hatch" for safety, particularly in the bunk area of a camper, it serves it's purpose. I don't expect it to last for "years", but for the price it is sufficient and should you ever actually "need it" to fulfill it's purpose it would become priceless. Everything is perspective.

The product is well built and durable, all aluminum frame with many mounting holes and quite sturdy. Lid and interior panels are plastic but seem to be well built. It measures at 17”x24” for the opening, which is important because it’s listed as a standard 15x22. If you are skilled enough you can expand your vent opening for this vent, but due to my limited time-frame I had to purchase a different one. If it was the correct size, or I had more time to modify my roof so it would fit properly, it would be 5 stars
