This is the low price brand. It works great. I've owned several pricier models. This works just as well. I would like to have a model with cast iron plates, but no electric heating models can be found, only stove top that don't work well on my glass top electric stove. My mother had an electric waffle maker with cast iron plates.

This is good. Works like a traditional wafflemaker. The removable plates makes it easy to clean. I have made pancakes and sandwiches in it so far so good
