Excellent little Multimeter
At first glance its a nice little multimeter. Handy to have on hand if you're crawling into tight spaces or wirking under a bench or hood working on wiring. It's a small meter. Individuals with large hands may want to look elsewhere but it works for me. I have a half dozen larger meters not counting clamps and this one is measuring within 1/100 of a volt along with some of my more expensive units. In short, the accuracy is there. It's auto ranging which is always a nice feature. Backlight has a timer so you're not burning batteries and the probes are really good quality. The bag was also quite nice which was a surprise. The only area I have a complaint about this meter is the kickstand and battery door. The tiny screw is not contained in the door so when it's out, it's out. Not an issue but the stand is. Very flimsy and is secured only by two tiny plastic ears that are meant to snap in. The unit I received the stand doesn't really want to stay in so I ended up removing it. It's the one thing that really needs improved upon.Overall it's accurate with nice probes. It now lives in the Jeep to have on hand at all times.

Great multimeter--poor man's Fluke
If you are looking for a well-built multimeter, especially for hobby electronics, this is the unit. Precision wise it rivals my best multimeters, and does it at a fraction of the price. Large display, good contacts, good rotation switch. My minor peeves are the "beep" signal when the unit warns you that it will auto-turn off after a few minutes, and that the leads are just average. I usually replace the leads with a set that's a bit more flexible. But not necessary.

works great
like it cause i needed to measure inductors in speaker crossover to replace them with new and better inductors

Nice small meter
What sets this meter apart from the usual type is it indicates inductance. It is also very small with shorter leads, good for a coat pocket. The leads have an unusual short point and takes a bit of time to adjust to.

A bit limited but not really bad.
I purchased the ZT-102L multimeter because I wanted a meter capable of measuring inductance without having to bring my LCR meter. I already own the AN8008 (also likely made by Zoyi), and since I’ve been satisfied with it, I had moderate expectations for the ZT-102L. I’ll mainly compare the ZT-102L to the AN8008, as they are priced similarly. The ZT-102L is a decent small multimeter with the same footprint as the AN8008. Visually, they are very similar, aside from the plastic's color.Build Quality and Ergonomics:The device feels about as durable as the AN8008. That is, it feels a bit flimsy and likely wouldn’t survive a fall but should last if handled with care. The buttons and dial are responsive and easy to use. The screen has good contrast, and visibility improves when viewed at an angle, such as when the multimeter lies flat on a table instead of being propped up with the stand. The stand itself is identical to the AN8008’s and offers basic functionality but nothing exceptional.Probes and Accessories:The included probes are fairly standard, with no silicone insulation but a slightly soft feel. While they are adequate for most uses, I didn’t use them extensively since I prefer other probes I already own.Features and Performance:Diode and Resistance Modes: The diode test voltage is about 3.9V (compared to ~3V in the AN8008), which is helpful for testing higher-voltage diodes and some LEDs. In resistance mode, the voltage is around 0.6V, and in continuity mode, it’s about 1.5V (compared to 0.5V and 1.0V, respectively, in the AN8008).Inductance Testing: Inductance measurements are inconsistent for low values. I tested it with the Zoyi MD1 (limited to low inductance values) and an LCR meter (DE-5000), both operating at 1kHz, the same frequency used by the ZT-102L. For inductance values above 20mH, the ZT-102L measured close to the DE-5000. However, for values below 20mH, it struggled significantly despite the spec listing a minimum inductance range of 6mH.Additional Modes: The ZT-102L includes temperature and NCV (non-contact voltage) modes. While I don’t have a convenient way to test the NCV feature, the temperature readings seem to align reasonably well with those from an Extech 470.Pros:Compact and lightweight, making it convenient for repair events.Includes a REL (relative measurement) option, which the AN8008 lacks.Higher diode test voltage compared to the AN8008, suitable for higher-voltage diodes and LEDs.Cons:Struggles with low-value measurements across the board—voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, and inductance. For example, it has difficulty detecting resistances under 1 Ohm and low-value inductors.Lacks manual range selection, which makes it slow when measuring values that frequently shift ranges.Continuity testing is slower compared to the AN8008, though this isn’t a real issue in practical scenarios and is more of a nitpick.Missing a uA mode, and the mV mode has lower resolution than the AN8008.Inductance measurements are unreliable below 20mH despite the 6mH minimum range listed in the specs.Overall ExperienceOverall, I’m somewhat disappointed with the ZT-102L. Part of this is my own fault, as I didn’t thoroughly review the specs before buying. For example, while the specs state a minimum inductance range of 6mH, the meter is not very reliable below 20mH in practice. If you’re involved in electronics and are aware of its limitations with low-value measurements, the ZT-102L can serve as a decent secondary multimeter. It’s particularly useful for measuring inductors or coils in motors or transformers. However, for a first multimeter, I recommend considering alternatives like the AN8008.Lastly, I didn’t evaluate the safety features of the ZT-102L, as I don’t plan to use it for mains or high-current applications. My use cases are primarily limited to DC electronics.UPDATE:The NVC functionality of the ZT-102L is not ideal, it requires to be really close to the voltage source. After opening it I found that the antenna was probably not close enough to the border but that it had a via in the PCB for a component. I soldered a small cable to it and the sensitivity increased substantially. I have added photos as a reference.
