Very strong seed trays
Good and very strong seed trays, allows one to sow a large number of seeds at one go.

Okay but very shallow
These seem like reasonably good plug trays but I was caught out by how shallow they are. Cells are only 21-22mm deep. The last plug plants I bought were in trays with cells around 45-50mm deep and that's what I was looking for.My fault I should have researched the products more thoroughly.I'll give them a go though. Probably still useful.

Good quality and reasonably priced
These are specifically for seeding. The plugs are small, as expected. Great for onion propagation. They are strong trays, sturdier than I expected for the price. So if handled carefully, they will give years of use. They have small holes underneath to push out the plug when transplanting. So you don’t have to squeeze the plug in order to release the plug plant. This means that the tray will last more than one season. This is not the cheap flexible tray. There is a little give in the tray when full, so you will need to find a tray for it to sit in. I haven’t found an exact size tray yet. It is a shame there isn’t one, otherwise these would be perfect

Shallow plugs
The trays are relatively sturdy considering how thin the plastic is, they are great for picking out very small seedlings, however they do not contain enough compost to grow seedlings on for long. Pot on or transplant as soon as seedlings start true leaves.Useful for bedding plants that are down in large number. For vegetable seeds there are not suited due to being of shallow depth.

Sturdy but they split very easily.
They are cracking on me and I've only used them once 😭Initially they appear strong but if you lift the tray once full, it tends to crack along edge in centre. This is despite lifting very carefully and trying to keep tray level. Once they start to crack, its only a matter if time until the whole tray goes. Also these cells are very shallow and offer very little root growth. You will need to get your seedlings out very quickly and certain seeds will not do well in them because of the very small size.

Excellent quality plastic
Excellent quality and reusable. Great for producing mini plugs. Avoids pricking out, competition for space and root disturbance. Would buy again.

Good little trays
Purchased these trays for growing a whole bunch of seeds. They arrived quickly and are much sturdier than I expected, I would imagine you could get 2-3 seasons from them with the correct care.I got to work immediately planting them up and before i knew it, I had a lot of tiny plants emerging. The only issue I came across was that the cells dry out extremely quickly, I had to water them 3-4 times per day, which became quite the chore and I still lost a lot of seedlings to drying out. I wish these would have come with a reservoir tray to keep everything going. After I purchased a couple of boot trays from IKEA I had better luck and the seedlings did well until transplant. All in all, I would recommend these trays but I would strongly suggest you source trays to put them in and ideally covers too as the quick drying really was a nightmare.Good luck with your seedlings!
