I bought this to use with a workout dvd that needed a mini stability ball. I've been quite amazed at the difference it makes to core workouts, your muscles have to work so much harder to keep steady on the ball. My abs were seriously shaking, in a good way, and normal crunches seem rather tame now by comparison. It's also wonderful because it supports my back so I can do these burning exercises without hurting my back. I've found other uses too such as squeezing it between my knees to work the inner thighs. It's incredibly versatile and can open up a whole new world of workouts. It comes with a straw so you have to blow it up, which doesn't sound very fun, thankfully I had a pump from my full size stability ball which did it in minutes, but without a pump be prepared for some effort inflating it. It's strong and air doesn't leak out even when leaning right back onto it. Incredibly useful and versatile workout gool.

Great ball, my wife loves it. It comes flat packed and you have to inflate it with a straw which takes a bit of puff. It has a nice soft feel and works well. Recommended.

To inflate the ball, you need to insert the included straw into the hole in the ball, blow up the ball, take the straw out and put the included plug into the ball as quickly as you can to avoid too much air leaking out. This means that getting the ball inflated fully is impossible. I use the ball for exercises for my knees. The soft material has a "sticky" feeling on the skin and it always leaves my skin itchy long after I use the ball.
