It was advertised as a push pull cable but it is not one

Wrong part? Poor design?
It was about 2 feet longer than the stock choke cable, and had the wrong fitting on the end... Needless to say it didn't work. Tried to make it work so i didnt have to deal with returning it, it broke so now im back where i started.
