Men's Wide Hi-Top Minimalist Barefoot Shoes with Ankle Support W823

My husband said these are, hands down, the best shoes he's ever had! Ever. He said they are incredibly comfortable. The soles have very good traction, but we think the tread may be small enough that they don't track in mud like his heavy work boots. The tread won't let them be dancing shoes, but his feet keep wanting to do a Happy Feet dance! The sole is just right - thick enough for cushioning but thin enough that he can feel the floor. That's great for balance. And the heel is not elevated - good for posture and proper balancing. They are delightfully lightweight. Even though they are lightweight, they give excellent ankle support. Though they give excellent ankle support, they are not restrictive in movement. We don't know how the manufacturer managed to make both things true in the same shoe, but it's wonderful! The toe box is roomy and will cause no overcrowding issues. He said, "The minute I put them on and stood up......I've never felt such freedom! Where have these been all my life?" I did order different sizes, just in case. I was expecting the 42 to fit, but his size 9 foot needs the 43. So the 42 is going back, thank you Amazon! We are glad for the color choice of all black, including the sole. That means he can wear them for "business casual". The construction is good, with quality stitching and crisp edges. The padding is thin enough that they should be cool, but that's probably what gives such great ankle support - and comfort, as well. He wore them around the house all day yesterday...said he didn't even want to take them off at night. "Bad idea," said I. We are hoping they can be machine washed - not sure about that. How many times did he ask me last night, "Have I told you how wonderful these shoes are?" He likes them so, so much that I promptly ordered him a second pair! And then... he suggested, "Why don't you get a pair?" Well! Why didn't I think of that!

I can not recommend these shoes enough! Not just for the amazing price but the quality and durability as well. I use these shoes for working out 5-6 times a week and I can say that they are perfect for all fitness activities. I do bodybuilding and powerlifting and these shoes cover all my workouts. I even stopped using my squat shoes because these shoes feel more comfortable. And they’ve even held up when I do cardio, not just on treadmills but I even have used them occasionally running on concrete and the dirt track at my local park. I finally got a new pair last month after well over a year of owning my first pair. I had to replace them because my cat peed on them lol. Aside from some dirtiness that comes with using white shoes for working out, the shoes held up perfectly. Minimal wear and no tear. Again, for people seriously into fitness, these are the shoes for you!

Its just the first day, but son is walking around the house feeling comfortable, and surprised at how light weight, and comfortable they are so far. He had a sore foot, and was wearing crocks for a few weeks, and wanted a light weight comfortable shoe, and the quality is nice as well. So far it's a hit, and would recommend to anybody who has wide feet. His size was a 13W. A little extra 1/4 to 1/2" room at the toe, but that's ok he is fine with that for comfort.

I really like these shoes. I own a couple other styles from this brand but the hi-tops are my favorite. The shoes feel light and aren’t overly rigid, like some hi-tops and other barefoot style shoes can be. For me, there is just the right amount of space in the toe box, which is an issue I’ve had with some other styles from this brand, and the shoe fits true to size after removing the insole. These are shoes that I can wear all day without worrying about if my feet are going to hurt afterwards. Which is something I can’t say about some of their other styles. Since it is a hi-top, it is a less breathable shoe so my feet do get hot in these but not any worse than some other standard style barefoot shoes. The material of the shoe itself is nice but turns the shoe into a fuzz magnet if you have pets. Nothing a lint roller can’t fix but a small thing to consider. Overall I feel the shoe is a well made, comfortable, all day shoe that can be paired well with any style from gym wear to business casual.

The shoes are much nicer than I expected, but I had to order and return three white pairs because the eyelets were cracked on all three. At this point, I’ve just accepted that this color seems to have that issue. These are still much more affordable than other name-brand barefoot shoes, so it’s not a dealbreaker, but it is disappointing since the black and grey pairs I own don’t have this problem at all. The cracked eyelets also tend to wear down the laces when tying and untying the shoes. I’m still keeping them, but I wanted other buyers to be aware of the issue before purchasing the white color specifically.

These have been the absolute only brand of shoes that he doesn't get sore feet from. It is that serious. He has a condition where he will get sore feet if you look at them wrong. These have been life changing for him. A lot of room, stylin', and most importantly comfortable.

I've had mine for 8 months now. I love these, they fit very well and so far they have not started to fall apart anywhere, the rubber is still glued on all the way around and there's no unravelling seams. My pinky and ring toes are still pressed in just a bit by the side of the shoe which is a slight disappointment but my big toes have lots of room which feels wonderful. Breathability is surprisingly good. They never feel too hot and they don't hold onto much stink. If you're not used to them they look just a bit funny at first but you get used to them really quickly and I think they look really cool compared to many other barefoot/wide-toe shoes. The material is a big part of this, it's very nice to look at. The rubber sole seems to offer the appropriate level of foot protection could expect and hope for from this kind of shoe. You can feel more but nothing is going to poke you. I plan on getting more so I can have some in different colors. I would love to see a wider variety of color/style options for this particular high-top men's sneaker shape as right now it is fairly limited.

Always a hassle buying shoes online but this was hassle free. I wear 9.5 and went ahead with em and they fit beautifully. My issue is always shoes that aren't wide enough. These are nice and wide. I did test to see if some insoles would fit and they fit perfectly and they feel great with those as well if needed. They feel very lightweight but at the same time flexible durable and comfortable.

Sizes as stated. True zero drop and zero additional arch support with good ankle support. Best part of Barefoot, Zero Drop shoes I have worn. And I have been training for a half marathon and these have been my shoes for that training venture. I've even ran a 5K race in them. I was the only runner with barefoot or zero drop shoes there out of the 200 runners. I would highly recommend these shoe.

I'm a 12 or 13 depending on the brand. I bought these in a 13 and they just fit me, just. Nice and comfy and somewhat warm. I will be using these during the winter, just need to waterproof the canvas.

I'll be using these for dancing shoes. I'm wearing my own insoles with them. I purposely ordered 2 (NA) sizes larger than recommended - last time I ordered the correct size (same brand, different model) and they were too tight, but I didn't arrange to return until it was too late, so I'm stuck with them). These fit. They do feel very light, which is expected. You can feel light breezes through the material, which they allude to on their web page for this item. That's great for my use. I am leery of the quality of the eyelets and the material they are embedded in. I caught my nail on the underside when I was relacing them and saw that they might rip out of the material fairly easily. I'm trying to be careful with them - we'll see. It's hard to get decent shoes that are wide enough, even if you can go somewhere to try them on. These ones are good for wide feet.
