The Scarecrow's Queen: A Monster Romance Paperback – October 10, 2023

I like the I like both authors. The story was very good very romantic you think it do you think it would be weird about like a scarecrow falling in love with a human being but it’s actually really cute. I’m highly recommend.

First time reading a monster romance and let me say I am extremely happy with choosing this book because it is fantastic. It is written very well and the romance, conflict, and the overall development of the characters is perfectly balanced. Never once did I lose interest and it makes me sad I'm a fast reader too because I'm sad it ended. However with that being said, the ending in my opinion is beautifully well done. I can't wait to read book one of this monster series. I enjoy that they are both standalones. Thank you for writing such an amazingly pleasing book ❤.

I wasn't sure if I would like the story but it was very imaginative and full of the feels as they progressed with each other. I like that it wasn't perfect between them and it ( their relationship) grew despite everything and in a sensible time that was easy to follow. Really good story.

The start Sylvie died and Hallowstalk, was there the scarecrow. Then the niece of Sylvie came for the farming land she inherited in the will, Delilah Rose Mackey. Delilah was fixing on the place to sale, The Crow Nest. But, the place was farmers dream because of the magic reasons, I enjoyed reading about the romance between Delilah and her come to live turn to a real biological man Jack Hallow. This story is gripping, exciting, and romantic. I was happy at the ending for the main characters, I really enjoyed the others too. I would recommend reading this book. I can't wait to read more from the authors Mel Braxton and Naomi Lucas.

I really liked this book all around. A little spooky and nicely spicy. Highly recommend, especially with Spooky Season upon us. Very hard for me to put down.

The book is very good. I enjoyed the research that was included in the book about small town life, what it takes to run a farm, witchcraft, and crows. There’s a lot that was covered and kept the storyline moving at a smooth pace. Finally a woman in her twenties that did what was required and did a lot of the renovation work herself on the farm. Of course, it is nice to have the money to do it. The cover artwork was beautiful.

Wow just won the world building and the characters were just so well done! Delilah, is the daughter of very wealthy parents who has always been a city girl who has lead a pretty privileged life. When her "crazy" aunt dies and leave her farm and all her belongings to her she goes out to the Midwest with the intention to clean everything up and sell the property. That is until the .mystery of her aunt and her life starts to come to o life when she meets a man who seems other worldly Jack Hollow. Jack is Hollow stalk the magical scarecrow of Crows nest. He watches over the land and was sad when his queen died now he is troubled and worried that the new Queen isn't taking her responsibilities seriously. Something transforms him into something more so that he can help Delilah understand what she has inherited. What starts off as wariness and suspicion turns into passion and love. I was thinking this one was gonna be on the "oh get the hell outta here" side of my opinion but I was pleasantly surprised and it kept me hooked until the end..

I mean wow, it was a roller coster of things, definetly a journey that i enjoyed, perfect if you like halloween, farms, monsters and spicy books.THE SPICY SCENES ARE wow, very good, not excelent but i mean. wow, just read it.READ IT. DO IT.BUY IT.

Wonderful love story, excellent character development. Magic, witchcraft, adventure, but not too dark. An enjoyable read. Fall in love with the characters as they fall in love with each other.

I loved this just as much as the first one. Such interesting and unique storylines and just amazingly loveable characters.I only wish there were more of them because I'd read at least another 10.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.25/6.🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.This was surprisingly charming and sweet.Delilah inherited her aunt's ranch so she wants to remodel this ranch and sell it. Once she arrived at this ranch, she sees in the corn field a very scary scarecrow and because the scarecrow is so scary she tries to get rid of it however the Scarecrow ain't having any of this and he keeps coming back because he needs to take care of the corn and scare crows away from the crops.Anyways Jack is a bit of a grump and he's very direct. I loved the little things he did to appease Delilah and help her like say steal one of her aunt's cowboy romances and learn about carnal pleasure. 🤫Delilah couldn't help but feel attracted to this Jack guy that appeared out of nowhere and deemed her not fit to take care of the crops.This was a slow burn but it needed to be because of what we're dealing with.Their relationship was adorable and sweet. I loved these two!I also like the pnr side of it with The King's Crow and how everything was resolved.I loved seeing the two characters from book 1 too.
