Just yes! We have an eloper and this knob provides peace of mind. You have to use a key, code or print to get IN or OUT. It does have passive modes that allows you to enter from one side or both sides by just turning the knob. The instructions explain how to do those settings. This knob holds 100 fingerprints, 50 codes, and comes with multiple keys. It auto locks behind you so you don't have to worry that its been left unlocked.The knob also has disguise code, which allows you to enter your code with-in in any random sequence of numbers. So you can have your 6 digit code in the middle of up to 50 other digits. This prevents our littles from memorizing the code or the tones from the code. If "8675309" was your code, you could enter 882647599286753092234 and it would unlock. Next time you could do 8675309124464 and it would unlock.It was easy to install and program. There is also voice assisted programming which makes it even easier to setup. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought these for gates we have that where both handles can be accessed from both sides of the door. We needed something that was secured on both sides. We also didn't want to have to remember to grab our keys if we were hanging out on the patio and needed to get out, so I had been on watch for something with a code/fingerprint reader to make gate management easier to get in and out of.Pros:- Installation was very easy, took me 15 minutes from taking the old knobs off to finishing the programming - The programming documentation could be a bit more clear, but it wasn't bad- Fingerprint reader is VERY fast and responsive and does- There is a plethora of unlock/auto-lock/manual lock features that allowed us to decide per side of the knob for various scenarios we were trying to accomplish. For example, one knob we want to auto-lock after a few minutes every time no matter what. But the inside knob, we wanted to unlock and stay unlocked until we locked it manually. This was pretty easy to setup- We've had a couple of storms since installation and the knobs perform well in the rain (other than the fingerprint reader)Cons:- Fingerprint reader doesn't do well in the rain, you either need a dry surface OR just use the code- The sync function seems semi-functional...One of the locks synced the codes between knobs, but not the fingerprints. The other lock the sync switch did nothing. This seems like a big quality control issue - We ended up having to program both sides of the lock, which was fine, but not a great user experience- Does not have a 'keyed alike' feature. Since we have two separate gates, I really would have preferred that they use the same key- WARNING: Do not hire a locksmith to try to rekey these knobs, according to the guy we hired, they don't use a cylinder that allows for a re-key...so if you're considering that, don't waste the money like I didFeedback for future upgrades, but no points off becuase these aren't common features- I'd love it if there was a bluetooth or (preferably) WiFi radio available to these so we could incorporate it into our smart home.- Along with that, an app that allows for better management of user codes / fingerprints. Honestly, similar to the Yale locks- Long term, I worry about the keypad and the numbers rubbing off from usage, or making it apparent what our codes are. It would be nice if the keypad was plastic enclosed or something to make it more resistant- The manual (in particular the lock situations) seems to have been translated into English, but not well, so some of the lock/unlock scenarios weren't easily understood until we played with the feature to better understand it. So if I could recommend anything is improve the translation

of all the purchases in my life this happened to be the absolute best purchase ever. I had a door that was supposed to lock upon 30 seconds or however, you wanted your settings to work however it only locked from the outside, not the inside, so my granddaughter was still able to open the door and walk outside having this biometric door. She can no longer get out because the door locks from the inside as well as the outside and cannot be unlocked unless you have either the key, your biometric print or the code to get out

UPDATE - After contacting manufacturer I was told no warranty on anything after 1 year including finish - even though it states in writing it has a limited lifetime warranty on finish. Scumbag junk peddlers from China. However, they were very sorry that their products are trash... DO NOT BUY!I purchased 5 of these locks January of 2024 they were installed in late March of 2025. Within 4-5 months these started to have issues. First thing was all 5 had some sort of membrane peel off of the fingerprint sensors. Next was the paint finish started to peel and flake off. Next they would start to beep and flash randomly. I contacted the seller and was asked to provide serial numbers and pictures of the issues and I complied. They were only willing to replace one of these locks and if I had any other issues I needed to deal with the manufacturer in China directly. I was told only one year warrantee on electronics and no warrantee on paint finish was mentioned. These are expensive at $169 and should last for far more that 1 year. After the one replacement was received I asked what about the other 3 units that needed to be replaced but they would no longer respond to the messages. I gave the seller multiple chances to do the right thing but no more replies were received. Hopefully Amazon will get involved and stand up for their customers. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, SO IF YOU PURCHASE THESE, YOUR MAKING A BIG MISTAKE.

One of the best ever locks . They solved ton of issues for me as i have little kid likes exploring and would open the door and goes outside .

This item fit my needs perfectly. My father has Alzheimer's and is prone to wondering. I needed a way to have a keyless lock for entering and leaving and this fit the bill. Only a few issues:Fingerprint reader can be a bit finicky.Motor mechanism seems to struggle at time. Sometimes it ties, but does not unlock, even with fresh batteries.You are supposed to be able to have the inner and outer lock be synced or separate with regards to codes and fingerprints, but I can't seem to get them to sync, so I have to enter codes/fingerprints separately. (Could be user error)Programming is a bit cumbersome. I wish it had bluetooth or wifi to help with this as well and to access it remotely.
