Expected far less, so far Brilliant
Having spent weeks messing about trying to get a different headunit to work correctly, I had given up and ordered this one based on its spec and reviews. I opened the box and was amazed with the amount of cables provided to ensure the correct iso was supplied. I eventually got to the headunit and it looked like a quality unit. Once the correct iso was identified I connecte the unit to my Freelander td4 and turned the key, within 30 seconds the unit was alive, I plugged the radio antenna in and selected a station and wow the sound straight out the box was good, a quick look into settings and the sound adjusted to my liking. I connected the GPS antenna, and the other necessary cables for my setup and I was away. The touchscreen is very responsive, much like my Android phone, unlike the previous pile of sh1te. Setting up was simple, connection to Bluetooth1 for media and call, Bluetooth2 for tethering, and WiFi from my phone's hotspot. I went to Google play, downloaded Spotify, Google maps and some othe apps and logged in, they all work, no more of that stupid usb tethering and screen mirroring, the unit is truly standalone. I've not sussed how to make the WiFi hotspot work without doing it manually from my phone but the Bluetooth2 1 and 2 both connect quickly. The GPS works great in maps, the additional microphone is also great. So far everything is brilliant. I'll keep updating as time goes on. A fair chunk of money to pay out, but it works straight out the box, unlike the crap at half the price which doesn't work, relies on usb tethering and screen mirroring, and the touchscreen required pressing and caused incorrect operations. Buy this, you won't regret it. Ask me questions by all means.

Brings my old Camper’s sound system up to date!
I have an ageing (1997) Japanese import Toyota Granvia Campervan. When imported it came with a Japanese double din unit that was replaced by the previous owner with an Xtrans unit for the U.K. market as the Japanese unit didn’t work in the U.K. Sadly after a few years the Xtrans unit failed but I was never very satisfied with its performance as it was based on an out of date Android system. It was very slow and it hadn’t been installed correctly so only one of the door speakers worked. I took a lot of time and research to find a replacement and settled for this Atoto A6PF system, as opposed to an U.K. unit; Pioneer, Kenwood etc. I haven’t been disappointed. I already had an ISO adapter for the previous unit which fitted the bill, but the unit came with two alternative ISO adapters as standard. I still had to re-wire the drivers door speaker into the system (not the fault of the adapter). The transformation was huge. Car Play, Android Auto, GPS for google maps, hands free telephone etc., what’s not to like. In addition it has a great amplifier that has made my speakers perform at their best, with good volume and audio adjustments included. However, unlike some other Atoto systems this unit did not come with a remote control as standard but there is a remote that fits the bill (see my other review of that unit). I now have a unit correctly installed and with a remote unit that completes the installation. I like the fact that the Atoto unit allows you to connect via Bluetooth or wired connection and that additional Apps can be added to the system. The supplied installation and user manuals are quite comprehensive and easy to follow making the upgrade relatively straightforward for a competent person. My camper is too old to make use of many of the other facilities of the unit - e.g. front & rear cameras, video input, connections to sub woofer, steering wheel controls, tyre pressure monitors etc., but that doesn’t mean the unit wasn’t worth the money I spent on it. I would consider it good value for money and it has enhanced my in car entertainment massively. Recommended.

Excellent unit but you may need CAN-Bus and Steering Control wiring harness
After much research, I decided to buy the Atoto A6 PF 7inch Double-DIN Android Car Stereo HD LRV, 2G+32G, A6G2A7PF. It appears to come with everything you might need, for installation, but I am writing this review to mention that you may need to know some information which took me a while to discover. Firstly, you may need to purchase separately, an additional wiring harness for CAN-Bus and steering control (steering wheel switches to operate volume, etc. when fitted to your vehicle). In some instances, the CAN-Bus unit is also needed to send the right signal to switch on a vehicle's factory installed audio system - otherwise you will install the Atoto and get no sound. Many modern vehicles use CAN-Bus (Controller Area Network) and you need the correct system for your vehicle. I'm not allowed to post links here, but there are some helpful videos online. Secondly, I am not an auto electrician, but I do have some basic electrical and electronic knowledge and have fitted regular radio/cd stereos to my cars, in the past. When installing the Atoto unit, even with all the adapter wiring harnesses, you are still likely to need to cut or join one or two wires to connect everything as you need it and achieve the required functionality. So, it took me a few hours across about 3 days, to get everything working as I wanted - mainly because I had to research help videos and harness supply companies, and order the correct parts, particular to my vehicle. In terms of use, the unit comes on pretty quickly after a few seconds, and if you turn it off during driving and then turn it on again, it has a stand-by memory which enables it to come on again instantly. The screen response is fast, like you'd find on a smart phone, although I have had to press quite firmly, at times, to get some menus. (Part of this may be because I am right-handed, driving a right-hand drive vehicle. This means I am mainly operating the Atoto with my left hand and at an angle to the screen). When using SatNav maps, some of the menu icons are quite close to the bottom of the screen and whilst I like the physical buttons on the unit, just below the screen, I managed to catch the off button when trying to press the tiny menu, bottom left of the screen for a SatNav menu. (This is more an issue of the App software, than it is the Atoto). Update August 2023: Having now used the Atoto A6 PF on a number of journeys, a few issues have arisen: Firstly, when using a SatNav app, it's only possible to have the radio on if you mute the audio announcements on the SatNav app. Otherwise, the SatNav audio will put the radio into 'pause', effectively switching it off and the only way to get the radio back on, is to navigate back to it and physically turn it on again. Contrary to the mentioned option of deciding the ratio of audio level, between SatNav and Media, this does not overlay sound from one to the other and back again. (On one journey, I had an opposite issue when the radio kept coming on and overriding the SatNav. The only thing that seemed to eventually stop this was to disable radio traffic announcements (TA). Secondly, using the feature of raising volume with road speed is not incrementally subtle - unless you are a person who likes to drown out all sound at very high volumes. It doesn't just increase volume by a little; it increases it be far too much. I now have this option switched off and simply adjust the sound from my steering wheel controls. Thirdly, Mobile phone data / Wi-Fi tethering seems a bit hit and miss. Sometimes the Atoto does not recognise my mobile (iPhone) hotspot and says 'out of range' - even with the phone an arm's length away. I even had the iPhone as one of my 'saved' connections - but it seems I sometimes have to manually connect, rather than it being automatic. And then it will recognise my passenger's iPhone hotspot and work fine; then, on another occasion it will recognise my phone again. All of this is further complicated by the number of options available to connect a phone with the Atoto: Direct USB cable from phone to Atoto; Wi-Fi signal from home Wi-Fi or mobile data with hot-spot tethering; Bluetooth and Bluetooth 2, where the second is supposed to transmit data, (which I thought might include the Wi-Fi from the mobile data). But with some 'link apps' you cannot use all of these options together and basically, have to pick one. (See more below). Fourthly, following on from the above, the uncertainty of whether a Wi-Fi tether, once connected, is staying connected, or not, can be an issue when using an App like TomTom SatNav with 'Live Traffic'. After a while driving, you may suddenly notice you haven't seen any traffic reports for some time and later discover the Wi-Fi link dropped out and did not automatically reconnect. It would be helpful to see a small icon on the display when a Wi-Fi signal is still active. Fifthly, I didn't have much success with 'Apple Car Play' and ended up downloading another link App. This works fine, but says that Bluetooth should not be connected while using - which is a nuisance, since I was using Bluetooth to activate my Atoto unit without having to enter a chosen passcode for security. The age of my iPhone may be part of the issue, but it is young enough to have 'Car Play' on it. Using Atoto's recommended link (and downloading the App on my phone to match the App that comes with the Atoto) seems to now work best. So you can see, I still have a way to go, before I can completely endorse the A6 PF as the perfect product. However, I would like to mention that Atoto customer support (described as an 'independent research and development company' has been excellent and replies have certainly come within an acceptably short time (allowing for different working hours in our respective countries). You can also join a fb group dedicated to users of the Atoto devices.

Outstanding stereo and exceptional customer support.
After doing a ton of research, I finally decided to upgrade my car's stereo to the ATOTO A6 PF, and I’m really glad I did. This unit has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which means I can connect my phone without fumbling with cables every time I hop in. The connection is super smooth, and the interface is quick, making it super easy to navigate, stream music, and make hands-free calls. One of the best things about this system is how simple it is to add extra accessories. I picked up the ATOTO dash cam and a reversing camera, and they both fit in perfectly with the setup. I followed a youtube video for the installation of the reversing camera which was simple, and everything worked right away with hardly any hassle. The reversing camera gives a clear, wide view, making parking a lot safer, while the dash cam records in high quality, giving me extra peace of mind. I got the stereo system back in 2022, and after using it daily for three years, I ran into a problem where the Bluetooth suddenly stopped working. But ATOTO’s customer service was top-notch. They were quick to respond and walked me through some troubleshooting steps that fixed the issue in no time. It was great to know I had support when I needed it, which really boosted my confidence in the brand. All in all, the ATOTO A6 PF is an awesome upgrade for anyone wanting to bring their car's entertainment and navigation into the modern age. With its wireless features, easy accessory integration, and fantastic customer support, I can’t recommend it enough.

ATOTO A6G2A7PF - Great Value
I was looking for the perfect Android Head Unit for my 2009 Peugeot 207 and I definitely know I've found it. After much head scratching and consideration of the pros and cons of choosing a centre console 2DIN head unit versus a centre dashboard mounted option I decided to buy the ATOTO A6G2A7PF. Its not always easy to fit an aftermarket stereo particularly when the replacement fit needs to be as simple as unplugging the original unit and connecting its successor to the original harness. Add to that the fact that since 2009 when my car was built an awful lot of technology has evolved and I wanted to do my upmost to as easily as possible bring my old Peugeot up to date by adding all that new technology and having it all to hand in a single integrated stereo head unit. I wanted to be able to navigate safely without trying to look at my tiny smartphone screen or having to plug my trusty old plug-in sat nav into the lighter socket and stick it onto my windscreen. I wanted to be able to listen to all my music files without the bother of carrying a glove box full of CDs. I wanted to be able to watch a movie in the car while my wife spends countless hours shopping. I wanted to be able to make a phone call safely without having to pull over into a layby to do so. I wanted to have the versatility of having a smart phone to hand without the danger of having it in my hand while driving. Above all I wanted to do all this (and much more) available in a single device and that's what I've now got in the ATOTO A6G2A7PF. It was simple to fit and even easier to connect up to the original harness. I was a little daunted at first but before I started the installation I contacted the ATOTO Customer care team to ask them a few basic questions about what additional harness I would need to buy to ensure everything would work exactly as it should. The team were great and Kiki who helped me at the start and afterwards with additional questions was fantastic. Kiki suggested which interface lead I should purchase before installing the ATOTO unit and so once I'd purchased and received that lead I set-to fitting the A6 in my Peugeot. It took me less than an hour to fit the A6 and connect up all the supplied leads and my interconnecting lead and from the moment I turned my ignition key the A6 came to life. It was easy to configure the head unit to my preferences and everything worked exactly in line with the user manual. It took me two attempts to get Android Auto working perfectly but I suspect that was down to my errors and not the A6. The ATOTO A6G2A7PF is fast and responsive and its menu system is intuitive and its easy to use and if you're anything like me and you can manage to use a smart phone at 64 then you will find the A6 an absolute breeze. The sound quality it delivers is superb and the screen is crystal clear. I'm enjoying using it and there's so much I've yet to try. I'm going to add the ATOTO DVR camera to my installation next and as its a plug and play accessory I don't think I'll have any problems doing that. The connectivity options are considerable and I probably won't need all the unit offers (but over time I'll perhaps be adding a few more accessories). Give the ATOTO A6G2A7PF a go as I don't think you'll be disappointed.

An Impressive Entertainment Upgrade: ATOTO A6 PF Delivers on All Fronts!
I recently upgraded my car's entertainment system with the ATOTO A6 PF, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the seamless installation process to its feature-packed performance, this head unit has truly enhanced my driving experience. First and foremost, the installation of the ATOTO A6 PF was an absolute breeze. With a well-documented instruction manual and the inclusion of all necessary cabling, I had it up and running in just 10 minutes. It's always a relief when a product lives up to its promise of simplicity, and the ATOTO A6 PF certainly did not disappoint. The speed at which this head unit boots up is remarkable. It takes mere seconds to go from ignition to a fully operational system, allowing me to access my favorite features without any frustrating delays. This quick boot-up time adds to the convenience factor, making every drive enjoyable right from the start. The intuitive interface of the ATOTO A6 PF deserves special praise. Navigating through its various menus and options is a breeze, thanks to its well-thought-out design. Whether I'm adjusting audio settings, browsing through music playlists, or accessing my favorite apps, the interface is responsive, easy to understand, and aesthetically pleasing. One standout feature that I absolutely love is the ATOTO A6 PF's wireless connectivity with my smartphone. It automatically connects to my phone as soon as I enter the car and turn the ignition on, seamlessly initiating Android Auto. This feature ensures that I can stay connected and utilise my phone's functionality while keeping my hands on the wheel and my focus on the road. In addition to its impressive features, the customer care provided by ATOTO is truly second to none. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly addressed, and their support team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This level of commitment to customer satisfaction is truly commendable and further enhances the overall ownership experience. To sum it up, the ATOTO A6 PF is a standout product that delivers on its promises. The easy installation process, lightning-fast boot-up time, intuitive interface, seamless wireless connectivity, and excellent customer care make it a top-notch choice for anyone looking to upgrade their car's entertainment system. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend the ATOTO A6 PF to fellow car enthusiasts seeking a reliable and feature-rich head unit.

Love this A6PF head unit,, good quality, great sound, easy to fit and very versatile
Picked the Atoto A6 Pf based on the good reviews on YouTube and Amazon, I am not disappointed, it’s a great upgrade at a lot less cost than the normal main brands. Other than having to make some brackets to fit it to my old style dashboard, fitting was very straight forward and looks (in my opinion) OEM, because everything is supplied, multiple wiring harness options, every cable labelled, choice of finishing trims. The A6PF is fast to boot up, touchscreen is very responsive, sounds much better than the Alpine head unit that was installed and is very customisable. I have added an Atoto dab radio receiver which is giving very good reception and choice of stations and an Atoto AC-HD02LR reversing camera which gives an astoundingly good quality picture…definitely recommend the Atoto A6 PF

Great product
This head unit is very good, fast to connect your phone with the unit by Bluetooth if you want the car play or android auto. But you also can download the apps from Playstore directly in the head unit, since this has Android system. The screen is good and it responds well to touch and the screen has a good quality. The GPS signal is good and the app like Waze works well without delay. You also can use 2 apps at the same time by using Android auto or in the system itself. The sound has a good quality, and it's loud. The only issue that I could say is, the buttons are not illuminated so at night if you want to use the buttons it will be a difficult task as it is difficult to see the buttons, I don't know if it can be sorted out with some setups but I think it is what it is, but it's not a big deal and other issue is, how the screen is a little bit small sometimes it's hard to click on the screen bottoms. Furthermore, multimedia meets the consumer's needs well, taking into account the value. I can say that it is a good purchase. I don't know about the camera bcuz I didn't buy it yet.
