I have painful feet these shoes are very comfortable and my foot has room. Made very well and look not bad at all.

I have swollen feet, and normal shoes just don't fit. These shoes, which open up with a loose tonge do feet my feet, and the Velcro straps help hold the shoes on my feet. The shoe opens up nice and wide, so I don't have to struggle to get my feet into them. Plus, they are just downright comfortable. I feel I made a good choice on purchasing these shoes.

I bought these for my dad who has Parkinson's and experiences an increasing difficulty with certain motions - esp. gripping - and finer movements, like tying shoelaces or fastening buttons. It's been really difficult to find shoes of this type in Europe. I took the exact measurements of my dad's feet (he also has terrible bunions due to muscle loss) when swollen and the recommended sizes were spot on. It's too hot to wear them now, but my dad was super happy - he is able to put them on himself, the Extra Wide is roomy enough so that it doesn't hurt, and the wide opening makes it easy to slide his foot in without the pain experienced with other shoes. They are also lightweight so he doesn't feel weighed down more than necessary. I ducked one star just because the quality of materials does not seem as good as the shoes my dad is normally used to, but given how little he gets out I think they will do fine overall.

Only have had these for a few days... and Love them. They have sufficient cushioning for my needs, too much would make my feet/balance unstable. Easy to put on, size is fine, I ordered a bit large, my foot is 10.5 or so, but ordered 11.5 because at times I have significant foot swelling. I likely could have been fine with 11.0, since these are a little big. I am not thrilled with the design of the tongue or in-step strap... but it holds better than I expected. I hope the design holds up. Only time will tell how these hold up over all, for the price, if they old up for a year, I will be happy.

Excellent shoes. Extremely comfortable with room for foot swelling due to Lymphedema. Amount of adjustability is fantastic. Very happy with purchase and price.

I tried many other options and none of them worked. These shoes have plenty of room around the toes. The Velcro closure is handy and allows for correct adjustment of fit. The padding of the insole is good, but it would be better with more cushioning. The shoe does a good job of protecting my toes.

I was very happy with these shoes for the 1st 6 weeks..I received them on September 28 this year. On October 14th a seam has started coming undone on the the left shoe..they haven't been abused or gotten wet..I wore them to work today and by lunch the open seam had grown by half an inch..I am an upholsterer by trade .so I was able to take a heavy needle and thread to the area and hopefully stop the seam from getting worse..I am not happy about this..I am a shoe person and was planning on adding several more pairs of Fitville shoes to my closet. But now I am definitely reconsidering that plan.

My feet are swollen and will not fit standard shoes. I have diabetes and edema. These shoes are soft and the fit feels loose, but that is what I need for comfort. I have tried other wide fit shoes like Sketchers, and they do not offer the wide toe box and ability to fit my swollen feet . I really like the velcro closure, it offers me the ability to adjust the fit when I'm having a bad foot day. I also appreciate the slip-on style on days when my feet are hard to reach.

I purchased these for my dad who is in his 80s and has always complained about shoes being too tight in width. In recent years I have been buying him Asics that come in double width but he’s still not satisfied with their width. Finally I discovered these FitVille shoes that come in 4 times width (extremely extra wide), slip on and with a Velcro adjustable strap allowing for a range of tightness and quickly securing in place. My dad is able to put them on without bending over given they don’t need tying which helps with slower mobility and difficulty bending at his age. They also look very stylish and are suitable for dressing up or dressing down so very versatile. He says they are the most comfortable and convenient shoes he has had and loves the width being wider than any other shoes he has tried. I will be purchasing him more from this brand. Also the shoe feels high quality consistent with top brand sports shoes but is much cheaper than other brands of comparable quality. They don’t feel like a cheap brand you might find in many department stores or shoe stores that don’t stock top sports brands. Very impressed and recommend these if the features I describe are what you need.

This is the absolute best shoe for people who have swelled feet. Even if they don’t, these are so much easier to put on and take off.
