Pott'd Home Pottery Kit, Air Dry Clay Kit for Adults & Beginners

Super fun activity, you get loads of clay so can make a variety of things. Clay is really easy to work with and quick to clean up. Just waiting for them to dry before painting, but would highly recommend!

The wine bottle in the photo is to show the szie of the box!!This is a really nicely boxed, well-thought out, good-sized home pottery kit. You get everything you need including instructions to make various items, along with 2kg of clay that just air dries. No faff, no baking, etc.It's not cheap at £39 but you can make lots of little things and it will keep you occupied for many hours.I've removed one star for 2 reasons. One is I think the white paint should come in a bigger size. Also, it would be really nice to have gold and possibly silver paint although of course you can buy this yourself but it would be cheaper if they supplied it even in small quantity.Overall great fun, smartly done and a wonderful, social way to spend a day with family or friends. Just for info, I'm in the process of making an eyeglass holder to keep mine organised and in one place. So even with terribly limited artistic skills, everyone can make something!

I'm really into arts and crafts so when I saw I had the opportunity to order this pottery kit to review, I was THRILLED! 🥳This kit contains air drying clay which means you don't need a kiln for it to set. It just sets naturally.The pottery kit comes in an adorable box 😍 which would make it ideal to give to someone as a gift. It is also great to use as storage for the kit.The thing that I love about this kit is that it includes EVERYTHING you need to create the projects. This is ideal for beginners and also for people with some experience.I ordered the pastel coloured kit and it includes:• Eight 22ml pastel coloured paints that come in their own little box.• One 50ml white base coat.• One 50ml clear gloss varnish.• One fine detail brush.• One large coverage brush.• Two 1kg resealable bags of air drying clay.The kit also comes with a cute little drawstring bag that contains five wooden tools. These are:• Two knife tools.• Ribbon tool.• Needle tool.• Blending tool.The kit comes with seven instructional cards to make the following items:• Pinch pot.• Draped dish.• Vase.• Incense burner.• Plant pot.• Trinket dish.• Photo Stand.Each of the instructional cards gives a difficulty rating and also states how much of the clay will be needed for that project. This is a fantastic beginner's clay set for making your own pots, vases etc, leaving them to dry, painting and varnishing them. It really does come with everything you'd need to get started, get inspired, and achieve a unique creation that will feel like your own and is likely to look better than you expect.I have to note that this is conceptually incredibly similar to the Sculpd pottery kits, which are equally a brilliant idea and will lead to some similarly great results. I have sets from both companies (it's a great pastime - good for any age!) and looking at them side by side, the only thing I can see setting their beginners sets aside is that Pott'd offers more variety of paints in the beginner box.Similarities aside, this is great value, a great activity and I can't imagine anybody not enjoying it.

Ottimo sia per chi è alle prime armi sia per chi ha dimestichezza con argilla e ceramiche. Ottima qualità sia dell’argilla (che si conserva sempre presto se ben chiusa nella propria confezione) che dei colori. Completo di ogni attrezzo utile a qualsiasi progetto.

The kit comes with everything you need to get started. The clay is air dryable and hence does not need any fancy equipment. This is definitely a beginners kit and could be done by anyone. We gave this as a gift to my colleague who is artsy and she loved it. The pastel colours in the kit where adorable. I still feel it was a bit expensive considering there are other beginners kits with more material and colour choices.

The box had fun instruction pamphlets to help beginners decide what to make! Fun pastel colors were provided as well
