It is beautiful. I sent one back because the light hardly lit up even at night. This one glows in the day and night. Perfect for what I want . I can keep up with world news.

Bought this globe specifically as a keepsake.My oldest granddaughter went on a trip with her school to France and Europe for 10 days - I decided to buy this globe as you can use dry erase markers on it and mapped out her trip from New York to Detroit across the pond to Paris, Normandy, back to Paris, then to London over to Amsterdam then back to Detroit and New York.Well worth it not only for future trips to map out but also if needed while she finishes high school.

This was an incredible gift, it looks way better in person than on the pictures which is rare. I got this for my 7 year old son, and he loves it.

This is a really nice looking globe, the internal light is not too bright, and the color is perfect. The only complaint I would have is that the power cord could have been set up to come out at a better spot, as where it comes out is a tad too obvious.Maybe if they had used a right angle plug it could have been routed better, or ideally it should come out through the base.

My son wanted a bigger size globe. This one seems durable as my 7 yr old carries it around the house to play with it with no damage so far. It has vibrant colors. A nice educational tool that is easy to read.

Gorgeous globe that I had been waiting for, but when I tried to plug in the power cord, the receptacle had fallen into the globe's interior so I'm guessing it was not well made nor secured. Returning same day for another brand.
