Best consistency and actually helps me sleep!
I’ve tried several different brands of nighttime medicine, but I always come back to Vicks NyQuil. The main reason I prefer it is the consistency—it is much thicker than any of the other brands, which usually feel thin or watery. The thicker syrup feels like it actually coats my throat and starts working right away. This is my go-to whenever I’m sick because it’s the only thing that consistently helps me get to sleep when I’m congested or coughing. The version with alcohol definitely helps with that "knockout" effect you need when you're feeling miserable. When you wheeze and it keeps you awake…. One teaspoon makes it stop! Doctors are to willing to put you on inhalers or expensive meds! Not a doctor! Just my opinion!
