Chew Proof Dog Leash Extension, Support Add to Any Leash (Blue+Red, 24 inch/60cm)

My puppy chewed through two nylon extendable leashes, however I did not want to switch to a different type of leash. I like the flexibility of being able to let her out further to roam or to bring her back in. Bought these to see if it would keep her from escaping and they work like a charm! No leash incidents since adding these to the end of our extendable leash, and she has tried to chew it without success. Highly recommend.

You need to buy these. I have a chiweenie That is a super chewer, and lord after she decimated 2 different leashes, I decided to buy these to save the new ones I bought. They work exactly as described, Providing just enough extra length to your existing leash. So that you're pup. When they reach back, we'll only be chewing on this reinforced steel cable. It's rubber wrapped and incredibly durable.

My big dog like(d) to grab ahold of his leash, chew and pull on it. He tore up some really nice retractable ribbon leashes. This stopped all that nonsense.

One of the two works great and as predicted. The other one had a clasp that was very rough opening and closing, like how metal gets when it’s corroded, even though it was shiny and new. I wasn’t able to open it and had to keep asking my husband to do it. We saved that one as a back-up and are using the other one. It has been working fine for a couple months of daily use now. Dog chews it often and it is marked up, but not compromised.

These chains are very small and not at all as advertised.

My dog chewed through a retractable leash at a hardware store that is dog friendly. Thankfully he stuck by us, per to breed, a Shetland Sheepdog, and we noticed quickly, scooped him up. A teething puppy that is super mouthy with everything. Thankful this item exists. We bought this so he’d not damage anymore retractable leashes, it’s been a miracle for us. Highly recommend.

I have wasted money before buying nice leashes, only to have them chewed away within weeks. This saves the leash, and can work as an extension too!

I had this extension for almost a year now. My golden would chew up all the leashes before I purchased this. Now, one year later, the leash I use is still intact since she bites on the extension instead. The extension held up very well without any signs of wear from the dog chewing on it. Highly recommend for the dogs that tend to chew on their leashes.

We used this for our 40lb dog and he pulled the wire right out of the crimping after a couple days. We thought it was just that one cable so we used the other one that came in the pack and same thing happened to that cable after a couple days. Definitely wasted money on these. Maybe for a lap dog this would work ok. It should come with a weight recommendation like most leashes do.You can see in the attached photo that the crimping was only holding onto a small amount of the plastic sheath when it popped out.
