ALTRA womens Altrafwd Experience

I loveee these so much, wished I got another pair, So comfortable, super cute and I love them.

I have had one other pair of ALTRA and I loved them. These are fantastic! They have a large toe box, plenty of arch support, and are comfortable from minute one. I am on my feet all day, every day, on a concrete floor. These shoes help my feet and legs stay healthy and without pain. You won't regret purchasing them!

I wear Hoka Bondi exclusively due to a foot and Tibial Plateau injury . I gave these a try and I love them . Very supportive and I can wear them all day . I love these and thankful to find a new brand that I can wear and not be in pain. They run small compared to the Hoka . I usually wear a 7.5 and i sized up to an 8.

I love these shoes, they are high quality and comfortable. The sizing was right on, my toes had the perfect amount of room. I loved the style and color of them. My issue was just that with this particular model, the mid-foot area was just a bit too tight on my foot. But I have pretty wide feet all the way to my heel. I returned them but I will be buying another model to try, because I really love these shoes!

I'm totally love these!! Seem to fit true to size, very comfortable and totally loving the wider toe box area.

Tried these because of the wider toe box and found there was not the best support or comfort for me

After a couple foot/big toe surgeries, simply selecting shoes based on looks is no longer an option for me.I needed a wide toe box and a sole with a bit of a rocker type motion to help take some of the pressure off of my big toe when walking for exercise or any reason, really. This is my third pair of this brand since 2017. I’ve tried other brands recommended for people with troubled feet and this is the brand 1that works for me.

I purchased these shoes about six months after purchasing a pair in 2023 for a broken toe. The first pair worked great and gave my foot plenty of room to spread out, helping the toe.Being that I already knew what size I would need, I ordered the same for the second pair. I really tried to give them a chance, wearing them for a total of maybe two or three weeks (spread into two months) At the end of everyday my toes would hurt from hitting the top. I had just had achilles surgery so I kept trying the next week thinking maybe my foot was swollen. Finally, I wore my old ones again and realized they fit just fine.Wanting to give Altra shoes a chance, I tried a different pair a half size up (per recommendation from customer service) and my foot just slid around. I returned those quickly. I truly think the second pair I received are labeled wrong and are actually a half size smaller than what they say.It was past time for Amazon to return them so I thought maybe I’d contact the company seeing if they might be interested in making a customer happy. Nope! They told me to try a half size up which I did and it was way too big. They are not willing to work with me. One time I had a pair of Brooks that I had only worn about three months and some of the cloth around the lace ripped slightly. When I contacted customer service, they immediately asked for pictures and I was sent a new pair within a week. Altra’s customer service does not have the make the customer happy mantra, at least from my experience.After wearing my old Altras and my Sauconys in the same day, I realized that Altras are deceivingly comfortable. Yes, they give you a wider toe base which is what you focus on, but when you really pay attention to the rest of the shoe, sole, heel, fit on top of foot and sides, I realized that my old tennis shoes, Brooks, Sauconys, Avias, etc., have a much better overall comfort. Not to mention Altra shoes look odd.I’m done with Altra. Customer service was dismissive and the shoes are not as comfortable as many others I’ve tried. If you do get a pair, really pay attention to the rest of the shoe (besides) the toe base and think about if it’s comfortable. Also, look down as you wear them. I never got used to the big square look.
