When you pull this out of the box, it is ready to go! The storage for all of the included items is in a red section (the helicopter landing pad for the hospital is on it), which is the roof. This roof clicks off on both sides. The building is VERY well made, sturdy thick plastic, and no edges to poke yourself on. Very smooth. I did not feel like any of the sections would break out or were flimsy, which is nice for this price point. It's good to see that the quality is there.Included were: a set of keys, several "tools" like scissors and a shot and such, a scalpel, a hammer for testing reflexes, a play clipboard, a set of stickers to put on various parts of the hospital, a working flashlight, a working light-up tool, a stethoscope that when you push on it has a "heartbeat" sound, a thermometer that beeps, and yet another tool that that lights up! The "computer screen" in the medical side clicks as you move it up and down.On the other side of the building, the animals are each in individual cages that open up with the set of keys - each has a different shape on it that corresponds to the correct "cage" to open them up and let the animals out and remove them from the area. There is: a bear, a rabbit, a dog, a hippo, a dinosaur, and a cat. So cute! The cat and dinosaur are rubber, while the others are hard plastic. The rubbery ones have holes for the mouths so that you can potentially play with them in the tub.Overall this set is absolutely ADORABLE. For the quality that you get in the building itself and the animals the price point is pretty good - this building is SOLID. I definitely recommend this set, your kids will hopefully have as much fun as mine did! They LOVED it!

My kiddos love this set! It's really well constructed, and comes with a ton of accessories. I have a 18 month old, 9 and 4 year old and everyone has played with this, although it's perfectly aged for my 4 year old. It comes with several cool vet accessories that light up, and a stethoscope that lights up and makes a heart beat sound. Best of all everything already had batteries! Each animal has a little locked cage with a different shaped key. The little units pop snugly into the set for storage or transportation, and when you pull everything out you have a two sided playset. All the tools and accessories fit under the roof/ lid, which snaps into place. Everything feels well made and durable, except a few of the more simple tools are a bit thinner.We love the set, and I think we will get use out of it for years to come!

I say it's too expensive because you think you're getting quality for $80, but this could've easily been half that price. Mines actually came with a part that broke off, so technically it came damaged. Even if it hadn't, I can tell it won't hold up for long. Other than the quality, it came as expected, and would be great if it were cheaper.

I purchased this toy for my daughter's birthday. It is a nice set and she loves that the tools light up and beep. However, part of the plastic on the sun was in pieces when we took it out of the box. Also, the containers for two of the animals are switched. (The key has a picture of a bone and is supposed to open the container for the dog, but it fits in the hippo container and vice versa.) Not really a big deal, but for a pricey toy, it should be made right.

This is one of my favorite playsets that I have gotten in a long time. And it's a favorite of my grandkids as well.It is sturdy and there are so many fun play aspects of it.The individual pet crates lock and the keys use different shapes to open them. It took my 3 year old granddaughter just one time playing with it to figure out how to lock and unlock them, so it's not too difficult for small kids and she LOVES it.The little animals are super cute and there are all types of vet instruments to pretend to "doctor" them.Some of these light up and make sounds. There is also a little helicopter for the pet hospital.Some of the animals also wind up and their arms or legs move.The set is big and it is sturdy. It is a VERY nice quality product. I would like to see the cost a little lower, as it is pretty pricey, but the quality is definitely there.5 stars all the way on this one!!

Our kids love this toy!! They spend many hours playing and checking up on all the animal friends. Great for imaginatory play, highly recommended!!!

So I love this pet hospital. I got it for my daughter because I noticed she likes her dollhouse and similar toys. She was so happy when we unboxed this together. She and my youngest child has so much fun playing with the little pets and getting them out of their home. I also love that this has a storage container on top. I can put the added accessories in there when the kids are done playing with it. Actually, the whole pet hospital is its own storage because the pet toys have their own home. Which makes storing this hospital simple because it barely takes up any space.
