Southside Double-Wide Acoustic Live

I really like this album, it is recorded in Athens Georgia and has the live DVD to go with it. Very good audio and if you like sevendust at all I think you will enjoy this. Sometimes I can only listen to a couple songs on any of their studio albums because I cannot say I am a metal head in any way. I just enjoy some good metal once and a while. This album however has some of their best songs in acoustic live form and I pretty much have to listen to the whole album everytime I put it in. A+. Get it!

This album sounds fantastic, a great recording!

Amazing album. You wouldn't think a heavy metal band that usually has all songs cranked up be played as well acoustically but you will be surprised. SouthSide Double Wide shows the depth of Sevendust's writing ability. Songs like "Trust" sounds like a different but still amazing song. Great Album. PS. album at store has bonus dvd and bonus tracks including a kick ass live version of "Angels Son".

CD, DVD, Pictures from the set and a guitar pick. This is a great album. Highly recommend.

One of the best CD's I own. I cant stop listening to it. My wife turned me onto them and now I'm hooked. Buy this cd and enjoy!

No conocía esta banda más que de nombre, un acústico de gran calidad sonora y la verdad la banda suena muy bien. La edición es en verdad de lujo.

Ce live acoustic est un excellent témoignage live de ce dont est capable la machine 7dust sans l'électricité au bout de ses instruments. Toute la puissance du groupe est bien présente dans les prestations qui s'enchainent de manière fluide. La proximité du public, l'implication des musiciens, la qualité du son, les arrangements, tout est là pour graver ce concert unique dans l'éternité des unplugged.Excellente set-list (ce live est sorti après "Seasons") qui reprend des titres de Seasons et Animosity, mais également des opus précédents.En (gros) bonus le DVD, qui restitue impeccablement l'atmosphère intimiste de cette venue rare.Indispensable...

Die CD/DVD überzeugt von vorne bis hinten. Sie enthält einen akustik live Auftritt Sevendust's von ihrer Akustik Tour 2003 durch die Staaten, als CD und als DVD!Vom ersten bis zum letzten Song taucht man in die geniale Atmosphäre dieses Live Auftrittes ein und kann die Emotionen, die Freude und den Spaß der Band am Auftritt, aber auch den Schmerz (bei "Angel's Son", der für einen verstorbenen Freund geschrieben wurde und durch den Tod des Bruder von Lajon Witherspoon (Sänger) aktueller ist denn je) mitfühlen.Die CD ist eine Art "best of", nur halt alles akustisch. Dies ist aber durchaus ein Vorteil, weil die Songs dadurch viel tiefer gehen und deren Klasse noch offensichtlicher ist.Sänger Lajon Witherspoon zeigt all seine gesangliche Klasse, das Gitarrenspiel überzeugt und v.a. Morgan Rose an den Drums trägt dazu bei, dass dies nicht nur eine normaler (oft langweiliger) Akustik Sessions ist, sondern auch die Power der Band rüberbringt.Die Song Auswahl ist der Band richtig gut gelungen. Von jedem ihrer vier Alben sind Songs vertreten und zu meiner Freunde auch all meine Favoriten;-)Ein Highlight unter vielen tollen Songs ist die Cover-Version von „Hurt" in Gedenken an Johnny Cash.Anspieltips: Xmas day, Follow, Skeleton Song, Disgrace, Hurt, Angel's Son, ...(eigentlich alle;-)Fazit: Diese CD/DVD hat alles was ein gutes Rock Album braucht... gute Songs in Hülle und Fülle, fühlbare Emotionen und auch Songs zum abrocken (v.a. "Rumble Fish")!Längst nicht nur etwas für Sevendust-Fans, sondern für jeden Musikliebhaber.Ein Meisterwerk²!
