I had high hopes that these colorful silicone mats would be useful in my busy kitchen. What I didn’t know was how handy they would be for several daily tasks. These mats are the perfect thickness to be handled easily when lifting hot bowls from the microwave or oven, they are flexible and very sturdy. Occasional boil overs in the microwave are much easier to deal with now and I don’t have to worry about handling the hot glass microwave tray anymore. Keeping the largest mat on top of the microwave tray at all times is simple enough and even somewhat decorative. Any splatters wipe off the surface of the silicone very easily, much easier than wiping them off the glass tray like I used to do. A bonus is that a large hot bowl or plate can be lifted out of the microwave using the silicone mat by gripping the edges of the dish with the mat directly. Neither my husband nor I have been burned by employing this method, unlike we have when using fabric potholders and oven mitts. The corrugated underside of the mat provides a secure grip. The only time the surface of these mats get hot is when they are used as bowl covers on very hot food. They will form a temporary seal that releases steam only when removed, so be careful there. Food also takes less time to get to the preferred temperature, so reducing the selected cooking time may be necessary to prevent overheating. Liquids are especially prone to boiling over when using one of the silicone disks as a lid.These mats have many uses — for gripping and opening tight jar and bottle lids, serving as a spoon and utensil rest when making recipes, using as a trivet or coaster to protect your tabletop or protect a hot glass cup or bowl from a cold countertop, as a hand washed dish dryer when the corrugated side faces up, and more. I like mine so much that last week I sent a set to my son and daughter-in-law for use in their kitchen — in a color that will work with their decor. They are already amazed by the versatility.Overall, I guess you can tell that I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I expect to get years of practical use from them! 🥰

Since I switched to glass storage & microwave containers, we needed something to put under our microwaved food so that we could pick it up when it was hot! Put one of these under what you are microwaving, and INSTANT hotpad at the ready! Makes removing the food from the microwave easy! They also work well if you bring something out of the oven and have to put it on something to protect the surface you place it on. They are well made, a good thickness, attractive, and easy to store.

I use these to get hot glass bowls out of the microbe, works great! I also them as trivets for the table. I also use one of them to do hot wax seals for my cards. Also perfect, no burns, no mess and the colors are vibrant!

These things are good for opening jars, preventing messes in the microwave, as a placemats, as a lid for a bowl.... I use them daily. But extra because your family and friends are going to want some.

I haven't had these for a very long but they sure do come in handy! I have used them for a bottle opener, a trivet for hot pans and potholders. I love the colors and all the different sizes. They are very easy to clean. They are just thick enough to do the job! I am seriously thinking of purchasing more of them!

Finally an easy and inexpensive way to keep microwave clean. The largest one fits circular glass dish and stays in place while rotating. Use the medium and small size to cover dishes while cooking. Drastically reduces food from splattering sides and top. Even if I forget to cover the food, the bottom large map catches spillover and is easier to clean than rotating disk. I have used these every day for months - they hold up so well I bought an identical set for when the other is in dishwasher. I also use for air drying small items that are hand-washed, as spoon rest if handy, and pot holder. I highly recommend this brand for durability and price since I tried other brands with only limited success.5/5

Love this item. Great in the micro as a pad to set a bowl on & then lift it out without burning your hand. Great as a hot pad, to to use to separate pots & pans. Many uses.
