My cat has short fur so I need short bristles to work best.** A: The bristles are about 1/2 inch long (I just measured for you) but they are slanted on the brush - which I am not sure I like, I would rather have them all straight. The picture does not show the slant. **Q: The bristles don't look slanted in seller's photos. Are they slanted or straight?** A: They are slanted. **Q: Will it work on my dog she has a undercoat. She is a sheltie ?** A: Yes it works very well . My dog has a double coat Buy it you will love the way it thins out coat. **Q: Is this brush good for short hair dogs** A: It should be. I have a golden retriever with areas of short hair and it works great. He love to be brushed with this brush. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hertzko Dog Brush - Soft Pin Bristle Pet Brush for Dogs and Cats - Remove Fur, Loose Hair - Comb for Grooming - Dog Brush for Long Haired Dogs and Short Haired Dogs, Cats, Rabbits - Deshedding Tool - Hertzko Self Cleaning Slicker Brush for Dogs and Cats - Pet Hair Brush for Shedding Long and Short Hair - Easy Clean Retractable Bristles - Cat and Dog Grooming Tool - Purple - Hertzko Flexible Slicker Brush for Dogs and Cats - Removes Loose Hair, Tangles, and Knots, Flexible Head Contours on Your Pet’s Skin -Large Size Combs for Grooming Matting - Single Sided Brush --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/57140583-hertzko-dog-brush-soft-pin-bristle-pet-brush-for-dogs](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/57140583-hertzko-dog-brush-soft-pin-bristle-pet-brush-for-dogs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
