Sportlock Leatherlock Series Deluxe Take-Down Shotgun Case

At a fraction of what these types of cases normally cost, the item is well constructed and looks great. The leather bound exterior looks rich. The soft, plush interior keeps the finish of the shotgun intact.As someone else stated in a review, there is no velcro strap to secure the barrels. However, the way this case interior is built, your barrels won't be going anywhere. The barrels will slide slightly from end to end, but I can assure you this will not harm your firearm. They have designed the barrel slot area with a bridge that will securely harness your forearm and barrels together. As long as you place them together in the barrel slot area, those components will remain secure.There is a velcro strap for the receiver/stock so it will not move about during transport. The strap is made of durable leather and very strong. I have also heard some feedback mentioning the latches. I have had no issues whatsoever with the latches. They latch easy and all three are secure.If you are looking for an excellent buy on a take-down case for your shotgun, look no further. You will be just as pleased with your decision as I am.

I will agree with Richard C. with one exception. The tab on the center latch of my case came off the first time I went to use it. I was able to fix it, but the latches could be a little more secure. I would imagine that other cases in this price range probably use similiar latches. Otherwise the case holds your breakdown shotgun in a secure and nicely padded interior, with a separate space for extra chokes and another space for glasses or other small items or tools.

The inside of the case feels very luxurious and the strap to hold the stock and lock seems sturdy. The case is long enough to fit 28" barrels with plenty of room to spare. There is also a compartment to hold chokes and wrench and even a space that seems like it would hold 25 or 50 shells. Overall a very decent case. Not super nice, but well worth the price. I would buy again.Not sure if I would use this on an airplane, but plenty good otherwise.

I recently purchased a Browning case that could be this cases double, with the only difference being the Browning was twice as much money.This case is super, and it exceeds my expectations by a long shot. $100.00 is not a lot for a case like this. Mine is perfect and the latches and locks work perfectly. If you complain about this case you have not been around. This is classy and secure. The item arrived by Fed Ex early and as usual Amazon is the place to shop. The price is always right and if you buy a lot join the Prime club. Well worth it. I love Cabelas, but when I can I buy from Amazon as they stand behind everything. I am a happy guy!

Nice little case.It fits my Browning Over/Under Trap 12 GA just perfect.30" barrel, with adjustable buttstock and cheek piece.I'll agree that the latches are a bit cheaply made, and I had to tweak them a bit with a needle nose pliers to get them to "snap" shut like they should.But for the money, a real nice case.I'ld get another one, but my daughter's O/U is only 24" barrel, and this might be too much case for a youth sized shotgun.

I have only had it a month or so, and it does not seem to be as ruggedly constructed as more expensive cases, but it is a nice case for the price. The gun in it is not that frequently used, so I did not want to spend a lot, nor did I need it to be that durable. (Who knows? It may last quite a long time). But so far I am quite pleased with it.

The case arrive promptly. While the case generally meets expectations, the latching hardware is sub-standard. The non-locking latch in the middle of the case (under the handle) would not stay locked and may have been bent by an earlier recipient of this item. The locking latches are only slightly better and I would not trust them to hold if the case was used for air shipment. The packaging gave the suggestion that this item may have been shipped to an earlier customer who returned it (probably after looking at the latches).For another couple of bucks on hardware this case would be a five star value.

The sportlock leatherlock case I purchased has met my every expectation . The case is very attractive and the inside is very plush.It will protect my CZ over and under shotgun as expected . There is ample storage area for your chokes and safety glasses and odds and ends you my need. Over all I am very please with this product. Don't spend double or even triple the amount of money on name brand cases ( Browning), this case will protect your breakdown shotgun just as well or even better.Thanks for making a great affordable product!!
