LED Torchiere Floor Lamp with Remote Control, Standing Lamp for Living Room

I’ve needed more light in my living room since my old torchiere died. So far, I’m really happy that I got it. I love how bright it can get but being able to dim it and tilt it is awesome. I don’t love the appearance of torchieres but functionally they can be really useful. I have one slightly behind the TV so I can have ambient lighting without reflecting on the screen. This light replaced it and I definitely prefer the look of this one to the old one, which gave a very “90s dorm room” vibe. The remote control is great. I was wary because in some of the videos I watched, it sounded really “click-y” — you CAN click (if you’re into that) but it’s easier to just gently hold down the button and it will have the same dimming function. It’s really easy to assemble. I hadn’t done these in awhile but start at the top so you can pull the cord down easily. As one reviewer said, it is strange that the base looks like it would have the functionality to have the cord come through and out the bottom but it’s really not a big deal. I prefer that this lamp is different because it can sometimes make a lamp wobbly when you move it and it falls out of the little bottom groove. This one seems to have a solid base.

I never write reviews, but I had to for this lamp. I love this thing. It has increased my quality of life tenfold. Its the best!! The multitude of light settings are super useful, and the brightest is honestly so bright! I love that I can change the bulb hue as well. I find the remote works at a decent distance (I can turn the lamp on and off from across my studio). This is exactly the product I needed to brighten up my space! Is it the most attractive lamp ever? No. Is it going to be a family heirloom for years to come? Probably not. But it is 100% worth the price, and fit my need exactly.

This is a great lamp. You can change color and brightness of the light. Its easy to put together, took me about 5-10 minutes & it is strong and sturdy. Also lightweight if you need to move it around. Comes with a remote so you can change lighting options & turn the light off & on. I recommend it.

I ordered this to replace the end table lamp in the living room. I much prefer indirect lighting in the living room since it does not throw as harsh of reflections off the television. The color change ability is nice, but I leave it a soft white. I also like the dimming ability. I actually use this with an automated home lamp dimmer and it works fine, but the dimming range is narrowed greatly so I had to adjust my home automation accordingly. There is a VERY slight flicker at lower dimming but it's barely noticeable unless you look directly at the lamp. I also love the lamps memory ability to retain the dimming value of the lamp if it loses power and regains power, which it does do via my home automation module. My only complaint so far is that this lamp does not have controls on the lamp itself and REQUIRES the remote to adjust the color or brightness. So do not lose the remote and keep it attached to the lamp. For the most part I just keep it at it's brightest. The remote is also RF, NOT IR, so you can't replace it with a "universal" IR remote. There is a foot switch for on/off control but that is all.

I love this lamp! It was so easy to put together, and it is remote-controlled! It is bright, without being overwhelming. It lights up my entire living room. When I lost my overhead light when my ceiling fan died, I was worried I would be in the dark forever. Then I found this beautiful lamp. In 2 days, I was illuminated with rays of sunshine in my living room. it has a softness to the light, yet it's bright enough that you will swear you have all the windows and doors open to let in the sun. And assembly is a breeze! I'm 63 years old, and it took me maybe 20 minutes from start to finish to put it together. Love this lamp!! It's beautiful, too.

Love this lamp! It’s not heavy and looks sleek. I purchase one for myself two years ago and it still works great. I ordered another one to gift for this year. 🎁 It comes with a remote control as well, and has 3 different light settings for brightness and 3 different lightings. Comes in a box, it’s super simple to built, you will not regret this purchase. I highly recommend.

The stated 2600 lumens output *should* be roughly equivalent to a 150W incandescent bulb. The brightness of this lamp is barely as bright as a bare 100W equivalent bulb. It does *not* "bounce off the ceiling" as implied which makes it fairly useless in that respect. I needed a lamp that *would* bounce and provide illumination to one end of a gaming room that's not lit quite enough by the existing lighting. All this did was knock down shadows a bit and did not provide any appreciable brightness to the area. The *requirement* for needing the remote control to provide *all* adjustments is also a major negative. If, and when, that fails you're stuck with whatever you'd last set. While it magnetically attaches to the pole it *needs* a "permanent" method to help ensure it's not lost/misplaced. There should also be a hard wired control for these adjustments. The foot switch and remote do *not* operate independently. If you turn the lamp off with the foot switch, the remote will *not* turn it back on. If the lamp is turned off with the remote the foot switch will *not* turn it back on. they are completely dependent on each other. The foot switch is only about 12" from the base which means you're limited as to where you can put this lamp if use of the foot switch is desired. A pole mounted switch would be a better solution. The power cord is not removable, ending in a rather large power adapter brick. Considering all that power brick is doing is converting AC to 5vDC all it needs is a standard USB-A plug for use with any standard power adapter or power strip with USB-A power built-in. The power cord comes out at the bottom side of the pole rather than going through the base. While this makes attaching the base easier it also means the power cord goes across the base for a more cluttered look. All around poor design. There are better, less expensive, alternatives to getting a *bit* of extra light that don't have the negatives of this product.

The light looks good. It’s easy to use and it is adorable product. It is sturdy and does not tilt very easily at the base. It took my daughter and I a total of 15 to 20 minutes to put it together and the functionality is nice cause now she can dim the light and it’s a strong light and also change the color. We both like it we like this so much I bought a second one for my other daughter. .
