Just received this for a gift and there are no instructions ugh!!

It's great!
It does not come with instructions!!I was able to figure it out though. I'm 99% confident I did it correctly.I have an old mongoose Fat tire bike that I ride to and from work quite often. It's hard to find thigs that fit Fat Tire bikes due to the wide frame. This fit just fine. Even with the support rods. I was concerned I would not be able to use the rods. The rack will install without them but will not hold much weight.Overall;-The fit to the bike was perfect!-The quality seems sturdy, solid and well supported.-Even without instructions, I found it pretty easy to figure out and install.-The size is pretty good and my bike bag fits perfectly on it.-You can't get a better value for the price. I only hesitated because of the lack of reviews. Glad I risked it.Very happy with this product!

Functional but needs to be anchored in place
I love that I can attach my backpack to this spike holder on a hot day so I don’t have to keep it on my back. I could also attach other things like a milk crate but it doesn’t stay in place. It swings around on the bicycle. You have to be very careful when you’re getting onto the bike that you don’t kick it with your foot. It moves easily, so if you bump it with your foot as you’re getting on the bike, you could potentially lose your balance. I used some zip ties and anchored it to the frame of the bicycle so it can’t swing. It doesn’t look as nice but it works!
