This is a identical setup to what is currently being ran to heat a 6000 gallon underground storage tank. The other wood boiler is smaller and we used a 40 plate as an proof of concept. No complaints as far as efficiency! If I remember correctly, 170⁰-180⁰ boiler water goes into the exchanger comes out around 145⁰'ish. The other side comes in at 56⁰ and goes out around 78⁰ish. Roughly about a 20⁰ delta throughout the entire heating process. It will bring the storage tank up to about 120⁰.
