I gave this a 4 just for the fact the disposable consistently showed 98.6 temp, but oral thermometer read 99.8.

I bought these to take to work, I like that they're individually wrapped and they seemed fairly accurate. My manager saw me using one, and liked them so much, they purchased some to keep in the first aid cabinet.

I had these when they first came out. The biggest problem I have with them: I don't remember them being sharp in the mouth. They sure are! Accuracy? I didn't find them as accurate as my glass thermometer. Maybe I'm not reading it fast enough. They are very difficult to read for me. It probably always was that small, but I'm older now. So, it may or may not be the product's fault and I'm not reading them correctly. I remember using these in the 80's and 90's without a problem. They look and are operated the same as then. Of course, I bought them because I was sick. So, I'll keep trying. I will update the review if I see a marked change.
