The Best of Hagar the Horrible (the first 10 years) Hardcover – October 24, 2017

I'm a senior and got this for laugh relief during this Covid. Been laughing myself silly ever since I got it and remembered how funny it was when I read it when I was younger. I'm 79 and still enjoy it . He was brilliant with this comic strip. Going to purchase some more of this.

A collection of these classic comics in a great coffee table style hardback book. I laughed for hours! The only thing I found missing: these were a collection of the daily comics (3 or 4 panel), and didn't include any of the Sunday comics. I've kept for over 30 years some of the Sunday ones; they're timeless, and wish those could have been included too! Perhaps that's the next book?

I haven't seen Hagar the Horrible in years and forgot how much I enjoyed Dik Browne's work. This book was truly a ray of sunshine this last winter. definitely worth checking out if you're not familiar with this strip!

This made for a great Father's Day gift for an old fan of Hagar the Horrible. He particularly likely the introductory materials that tell the story behind the comic strip (like that Browne based the characters off of specific family members).The book is good quality and the comics are providing plenty of smiles.

El libro esta bien editado y es similar al resto de la colección aunque algo mas alto. Los textos añadidos por el hijo del dibujante son entretenidos. Muchas de las tiras comicas estan repetidas de las de la coleccion normal pero es lógico tratandose de un recopilatorio "The best of" aunque hecho en falta que la mayoria son tiras del hijo y no del padre, que si bien no desmerecen para nada, entiendo deberia predominar por ser más "clasicas".Si te gusta Hagar the Horrible y dado que no hay una edición en condiciones en español, es un imprescindible.

The book is a great funny read!
