Fruit of the LoomMen's Valueweight Short Sleeve T-Shirt (Pack of 5)

All 5 t shirts literally falling apart after one wash. Not ripped, just falling apart. The stitching has come undone. I have been washing clothes for years and years and never had this happen to anything so for it to happen to all 5 I'm really annoyed. Messaged seller but can't get a refund as they have been worn and washed. Now have to buy more (from another company) not happy at all. If I buy something and it's faulty I expect my money back!!

Bought these expecting “valueweight” t shirts to be supplied which are 100% cotton. The ones shipped are actually “Original T” which are 97% cotton and far inferior. All t shirts have now shrunk and totally out of shape. I notice the title of the ad no longer says “valueweight” but it does state 100% cotton later on. Avoid if you don’t want t shirts half way up your back after the first wash - and check your labels when you receive them. Too late for me unfortunately.

I bought these in the off chance they might be half decent for my work as I work a manual labour job in the steel industry and have ruined so many T-shirt’s in the past. These are fantastic T-shirt’s and amazing quality. My wife was doing some of our ironing at the weekend and said to me she doesn’t mind ironing them as they don’t crumple up, they don’t crease and are so much easier to iron than her own tops. The quality is in her words fantastic for being fruit of the loom. I wouldn’t know, but working nightshift 8/10 hours, 6 nights a week where I lift heavy steel plates all night these T-shirt’s have been a Godsend. I’ve bought these twice now over the past two years not because the first lot shrunk or fell apart but for hygiene reasons as my job is extremely physical. These are my go to T-shirt’s for work as well as wearing them out and about. Great quality and amazing value for money.

These T-shirts were ideal for the purpose for which they were purchased. It is advisable to purchase a size larger than required to allow for a little shrinkage and the natural tightening of the jersey knit fabric. I purchased them for my husband to wear after the application of a skin cream, consequently they are laundered at maximum temperature, but there was no further shrinkage after subsequent washes, I would buy these again at any time and would recommend them as a frugal answer to an expensive problem

I am very disappointed with this t-shirts I cannot understand how low has gone the quality of Fruit of the Loom T-shirts when you buy it in packs.I have been using this brand for years but I always bought them individually, and the quality is way better that this ones sold in packs.Personally I like to wear the shirts very loose, that is why I usually buy one or two sizes larger than my current size, well these, despite being 5XL, are not as big as I expected.The seams are so large that they scratch at the shoulders, and the armpits are very tight for such a large size, resulting in a rather uncomfortable t-shirt.So not much of a good deal as now I will have to buy it again separately.After 3 washes I had to re-purpose them to be used as kitchen rags.!Very disappointed and a completely waste of money!This is the first and last time that I buy new clothes by catalogue or online without trying them before.jfxsarmiento

Just taken delievery of these so all i can say so far is:1. Quicker delievery than was stated so top marks for that.2. They feel like heavy weight cotton not that thin type cotton tee shirt material that a lot of tee shirts are made from.3. They feel comfy but that maybe down to me not liking tight fitting tops and ordering these a few sizes larger than normal.4. For the price I'd say these are super good value, there enough material to make a small sail if they turn out to be no good after a few washes..lol, but i doubt that will be the case as they do feel like a quality tee shirt.5. Would i buy them again..? I think i would for all the reasons I've stated.6. I will update this after they have been through the wash a few times, if theres any problems with the seems coming undone or any thing else.7... after quite a few cycles thru the washing machine and being hung out to dry in the bright hot sun shine I can say so far all the seams have stayed together and they haven't faded in colour.8. Im impressed i will defo buy more of these.

Bottom line, going into hospital for surgery so I needed something inexpensive that could be washed a couple of times without worrying about shape or colour bleed issues. Fruit Of The Loom stuff does the trick but it's not the thickest material, nor does it hold shape after a number of washes. As a go to PJ shirt that might get 'stained', ideal though and so I give it an average three stars and I mean that in a positive way. One good point is price, but bear in mind you pay for what you get!

For the price these are great - if a on the small side for a 5XL - more like a tight 4xl - some 5Xl have very baggy wings as I call them these are nice and tight.The material is thinner than most shirt I get but in that I feel they will not shrink as much - as these are being used to print on.A good bulk buy price then - if sizing is a problem I would go up one for a more relaxed fitThese came very quickly so the seller doesn't seem to mess aboutI will buy again in various colours sets to print on.
