Had a terrible fall, after months of a wc and walker - time to move on to a cane - found Big Alex - awesome piece of equipment. Came in a nice bag all folded up for travel, with a separate tip - I have the 4 sided tip so my cane stands. It is completely adjustable for height, has a very sturdy feeling. The flashlight is what sold me -it has three settings- straight forward, down and a combo of both using 2 AA batteries. I have it next to my bed and I can easily get up at night, turn the light on and get to the bathroom without turning on overhead lights to see. It is good for walking during darker times outside bc you are easily to be seen or to see at night. Love the color choices. The only small issue was that a couple times when the cane fell the spring in the battery compartment shifted and I had to reset the spring to get the light to work, but I would definitely buy again or add to the collection. I have had many people comment and ask about the cane and where to purchase!

My Big Alex Walking Cane is a wonderful companion. Big Alex came with a nice bag, and it folds up for travel as needed. Also included are 2 different kinds of tips. The very best part is the flashlight, it has three settings- straight forward, down, and a combo of both using 2 AA batteries. I have it next to my bed at night, so I can easily get up, turn the light on my Big Alex on, without turning on the overhead light to see. I recommend Big Alex with this wonderful light feature.

Useful to have a light on cane for evening or nighttime mobility. Because of the need for the light assembly and batteries in the handle, the cane has high center of gravity. I will stand on its base if place carefully on a solid flat surface, but may become top heavy if attempt to stand on a soft rug or an uneven surface. After about 6 months of falls, the forward light no longer functions but the down light still does. When I buy another I need to be more careful of how I "park" the cane. It is convenient to be able to fold the cane for packing or for convenience in tight places. The light switch button is conveniently placed.

This cane is sturdy and colorful! That helps me keep track.of it. The flashlight is wonderful but after the first day almost every time I set it down it goes out and I have to turn it on again. I knock the cane over frequently, don't know if that is why or not, but I find this most disappointing. I recommend it to a woman I saw in a parking lot. She was excited about it, but now I will tell people about it with the caviot that one must keep turning it back on.

The handel is much larger than most cane Handel's so it's easy to keep in my had due to not being able to grip well. It's so easy on my wrist as I have carpal tunnel. The larger foot that helps it stand alone is amazing & I don't feel like I loose my balance even if the whole foot isn't on the ground & also helps with the impact on the wrist & arm. The forward & downward lights are super bright & make it so easy to see in the dark, & the fact I can fold it up makes it easier to travel with & keep within reach in my vehicle. The height adjustment button is very easy to change & so far is easy to use & walk with on any surface, be it grass, rocks, pavement, stairs my deck or in my house!!! I was also able to get it in my favorite color wich makes me feel alot cooler being that I'm only 39 & having to use a cane!!!

This is a good-looking cane, well made & sturdy. Love the foot which allows the cane to stand on its own (a regular single foot is also included.) The handle is comfortable and a good safety feature with its two built-in lights. Customer support should also be commended for very promptly replacing my cane when I had a problem with the light. Would buy again.

Sturdy and light weight, it still tends to fall over a lot. I am constantly having to pick it up off the floor. Don't bother buying it!

This cane is amazing! I’m very pleased with it. I had one similar , by another company, that I’ve had for 3 years. However, I think I dropped it one too many times, because the light shuts off when you are walking. Speaking of lights, this one has a 3 way switch action. One light that sines forward, one that shines down, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out, both lights can shine at the same time. This cane is of better quality, it’s taller, and the grip is softer than my other cane. I’m impressed they also, included a smaller tip…THANKS! On a sale of 1-5, I give this cane a 5+. Also, my handle is multi colored. So this cane is also aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely purchase it again.
